BB is getting old for me. It all seems staged and produced. That hasn't gotten any better.

They need to get Caleb out ASAP. That dude is insane, and he's a ticking time bomb.

I don't like how the diary rooms are basically scripted. Donnie's hastag quote last night had to be given to him. This season does have more likeable people though, so I have a little less problem than I have had the last few seasons, like that Chef guy who just yelled all the time.

Anyone else want to punch Julie when she says expect the unexpected. That line needs to be retired and buried under nuclear waste and 40 tons of concrete.
The diary room has always been overly scripted but the writing seems to get worse each year and the hamsters seem embarrassed at times to be saying that crap.
I actually prefer the UK model of the show than US although the UK model doesn't cause house explosions thus it isn't fit for US consumption.

Try the Australia version. I find it even more enjoyable than the UK version (which I do watch).

Dude Caleb is done. He will piss everyone off with that possessive shite.

But why put them up and let then gave chance of coming off. It's dumb

Is the Australian version easily available online?
I still like this season much much more than the last one fwiw. We have actual game players (for the most part).

This is an interesting bit I don't think that I saw in this thread:

Team Nicotine (Nicole and Christine) put pinkyswear #9 on the tally the other night, swearing they wouldn't tell anyone about their plan to vote to evict Caleb tonight.. it was Christine's idea and Nicole thought it was a great one, as do I.. it's a foregone conclusion that Devin will go out on a unanimous vote and Caleb has sworn to go beast mode if it isn't.. Nicole & Christine figured their hinky votes would get blamed on Donny, Jocasta and/or Victoria, which would give this new week something interesting for them and for us - here's hoping they stick with the plan

I love when cast members do this. Just adds to the mental cluster that is the BB game.

Where can you watch the Australian version?
Posted on 7/17/14 at 5:06 pm to GeauxLSUSam
It won't air again til the winter (summer in Australia), but I watch it on tvmuse.eu. Because of the time difference, I get to watch my shows (currently watching Masterchef Aus - which is amazing) before I go to work.
ETA: It's here too.

I would 100% vote Caleb out. It would cause chaos. Obviously if I wouldn't be one of the ones he thought would do it

Awesome. Caleb will go nuts trying to figure out who voted him out.
If any of the houseguests are really smart, they'll try and pin one of the votes on Amber.

Big Brother without scheming or strategizing seems so boring to me.

MasterChef Australia is so much better than the Ramsey scream fest.
I only watched one season but it was great. Big problem with Masterchef and UK Big Brother is the daily shows. Hard to keep up.

It would be so epic for someone to tell them they heard amber was thinking about voting him out

The true hilarity would follow if Brit/Donny/Jocasta/Victoria all voted Caleb out as well. But I'm not too sure of the plan in this case. Donny/Jocasta might be working together, but I think the house considers them all to be honest. Could come back to bite Nic/Christine on the arse. Hopefully they go through with it.

My biggest issue with the Australian version (based entirely on watching the season with Tim, Tehan, Jade, etc) is that the house members play to the audience way too much and too broadly. Also, the cheesiness level surpasses even the worst of the diary room lines we get in the USA.
I like that in the USA version - from a game perspective - is played with the audience as primarily as watcher (as opposed to the deciding judge of who wins).
