One of the better quips tonight:

"Who's gonna pull in behind you?"

"Well I'm guessing someone who likes tacos"

In the preview for next weeks episode, who was the guy mike was talking to at the table? It only showed the back of his head. And it looked an awful lot like Gus

I would be pretty surprised if the brought Gus in this soon.

Like Nacho said in this episode, Mike is unknown in the town, a ghost. Mike shouldnt even be on anyone's radar right now concerning crime, especially the level that Gus is at.

Or maybe its him. Predicting this show is a crap shoot

He is the best in the business right now or maybe ever. Nobody writes crime with that since of detail and practicality that he does. Not David Simon, not anyone. I was convinced he was GOAT after the money scene in Season 1, Ep 7 when Mike took the money from the Kettleman's home.

I say this because I want him to get his shite together, which seems like a pretty easy and obvious thing for him to do.

He gets his shite together, there is no Saul Goodman/show.

That's kinda the point, that he fricks up everything he touches when trying to do things the right way.

Gus presumably knows Nacho. I'm guessing that will end up being the connection.

The "jungle" line when Mike was trying out rifles in the hotel room seemed to say that he unsuprisingly was a Vietnam vet badass.

And damn you Vince, this is the first time I've hated Mckean in anything, but maybe there's redemption at some point.

The more I see of BCS the more I'm kind of amazed that Mike ever let Walt get the drop on him in BB. (though it's been so long since I've seen that scene the details are kind of murky to me)

On the other hand, Jimmy/Saul's path of repeated brilliance followed by a fall from overreaching seems to be on a perfect trajectory. At least he though enough ahead to pull off the Cinebon thing.

Definitely looks like it could be Gus but I think the creators know everyone is thinking that. Thats why I think it is someone else.

Maybe some guy associated with the veterinarian. Who knows?

I could see Tuco sadistically waving a cell phone in front of him.

Maybe the guy meeting with Mike is someone lower in Gus's organization - gets Mike in the Los Pollos Hermanos circle but doesn't bust out the Gus cameo yet.

Maybe Victor? The guy Gus killed in "Box Cutter"?

And I LOVED seeing Krazy 8 tonight! And the callback to Tampico Furniture.

Word. I think if this is the introduction to Gus' organization, it is a lower level guy.

Mike seems to have just gotten in town and hasnt made his presence known. Definitely not enough to warrant a sit down with Gus.

What happened? How do people remember all this shite? Earlier in the thread someone is calling out Tuco's chain as soon as they see it, wtf I guess I don't pay attention or some people are way too into it

When Ctazy 8 was locked up in Jesse's basement, Walter told Crazy 8 a story about purchasing Walt Jr.'s crib from Tampico's, which was owned by Crazy 8's father.

If I remember correctly.
