This is not a bad position for Jeff - he just doesn't know it yet. Russell promised Jeff and Jordan safety and I think he sticks to it. Jeff has the power if he doesn't like what Russell does. He and Jordan will both be eligible for HoH next week with the same power.

Nah. Russell even went against his alliance today to keep his word to Casey. He seems to be one of those my word is my bond kind of people.
Plus, I think everyone underestimates his hate for Ronnie.

I think he keeps his word also, he even told Jeff about voting to keep Casey. Ronnie looks like he is a little scared, I don't think he trust Russell not to put him up.

jessie fell into the same trap that got him booted off last year. remember he wasn't too bad a guy then he got into that huge screaming match with renny. she then went on a crusade against him. he had that episode where he overhead Libra and Keesha talking about April and he told April about it and Renny went off on him.
jessie seemingly gets bored with the show and starts acting very arrogant (like he did at the Veto ceremony), renny used this against him and got him voted out. Casey basically did the same thing and if he had survived he could have done some real damage to jessie.
but jessie's alliance with ronnie, his relationship with the volatile natalee and his sexual relationship with lydia is going to be his undoing. lydia vs natalee is blowing up in his face and now he has russell in HoH knowing that he protected ronnie when he shouldnt have

I think this is spot on. After reading the live feed updates for the last couple of weeks, it seems Russ was waiting for this to happen. He can become a hero in the house by doing what most everyone else in the house wants. Plus, it helps his game go forward. Ronnie, Jessie and Natalie probably have no idea how much they are loathed outside of the house. It is going to be great to watch how they think America is seeing them. Even though they might know about the power, it's going to make the ones that don't know about it much more nervous.
