I hope not to many people are getting their first experience of AD with these episodes

Yeah this season isn't indicative of what AD is
Posted on 5/27/13 at 1:20 am to Tiger1242
yeah...no one should start at season 4 obviously
let alone if episodes 1-4 of season 4 were your first experience you would have stopped at episode 2 or so

So they released all the episodes at once? Has anyone watched all the episodes?
Posted on 5/27/13 at 1:38 am to beaverfever
yes they released all 15 just under 24 hours ago...I watched all 15

It picks up a lot starting with the 4th one

yes, once you get to episode 5 it gets better and I personally think it gets better every episode from there on...except I think episode 6 or so was boring to me

The op needs to amend the thread title to read "DON'T PANIC AFTER WATCHING EP 1-4 IT GETS WAY WAY BETTER!!"
Also after watching the whole series even the first few episodes become really great bc you know everything

people (me included) were too quick to judge the season before watching it entirely. it gets so much stronger as the season goes, and I imagine upon second viewing, the first half will be just as enjoyable as the the second. the later episodes are made great because of what happened in the earlier ones. the flashbacks, callbacks, etc in the later episodes are fantastic.

The complete lack of George Senior in the final episodes was really disappointing.

anyone else feel like the last couple episodes feel more like a movie than a tv show? it's almost like they were prepping the show to move to a movie format
but at the same time, there are a few hints of the show continuing past this season as a series more than just a movie. like maebe saying she saw the bluth family movie as more of a tv show.

Jason Bateman said in an interview that you could look at it like 3 acts. Season 4 being act 1 and a movie being acts 2&3
Eta: remember at the end of season three Ron Howard said the exact opposite. Said he saw as a movie and not a tv show
