Ok, I'm 6 or 7 into this and while I love the original format better, I like the risks taken in this one and I've reached the opinion that it is

It really is. There aren't as many "laugh out loud" moments because they reduced the best part of the show which was the family interactions, but it is still very well done.

This might not be as "funny", but it's definitely as smart, or even smarter.

I only wish Ron Howard had a smaller role. He's ok, it just felt like they really, really wanted to put him in it.

Episodes 1-2 had me worried. After that, they seriously started to step it up and it is amazing. I like the new format as it allows for more inside jokes. Terry Crews is awesome and Isla Fisher is so unbelievably hot. I want to have her babies.

The more I watch this new season the more I feel that it's supposed to be watched and them watched again. I think I'm going to like my second watch better

I don't know, Michael's 2nd episode, Tobias and Job's first episode all had me laughing my arse off in a row

I'm at Tobias's first episode and I'm dying. Michaels second is absolutely remarkably funny.

Its getting better and better

Job's episode was even better than those two

As you get further into it, more and more starts to fall in place. Absolutely genius writing

Just finished it. I really really enjoyed it. The way they connect everything is just fricking brilliant. That being said, if they do another season or a movie I hope they bring back the old format bc the family interactions are the outright funniest.

That being said the gob episodes...could watch those all day.

It hits its stride at the Tobias, 2nd Michael, 2nd George sr, and first GOB episode.

Starting to really feel like AD now.

And Lindsay looked like a bad Michael Jackson in the first few w the blonde wig, but im on her episode now and somehow she looks more normal.

Could be the haircut I guess

Still can't believe I'm watching new AD. I really hope we get 1-2 more seasons before the movie.

David cross was quoted saying the whole cast would do more if asked.

I hope the Netflix traffic breaks records and they sign for more. This has to be the most watched streaming offering of all time

Seems like that's the general consensus all over the Interwebz.

ETA: On GOB's second episode, gonna wrap up with this one and knock out the final four tomorrow.
