I like Mike Lynch but now two have to go home next week and so they just prolonged it for one week.

As has been the course for this season, Mike got fricked just as Didi did last week and Lily did a few weeks ago and that other hot blonde chick did before (though her performance that week did totally blow).

I liked Mike's performance last night. It wasn't amazing, but it was fine.

But he was a no brainer to save. Easy decision.

It felt rigged. I find it hard to believe that Mike was on the bottom, given his niche. I also don't think it was a good save, considering there is a clear top 3 with Magnus, no shirt guy, and hippie chick. Perhaps, they were pandering?

Lee Dewyze has something to say about that.

And Mike had the lowest amount of votes because he's a cheesy mother fricker.

Also, Tim will be going home next week. I don't see him having 2 good weeks in a row.

I think Tim and Andy Garcia are done.

I can see Crystal ending up like Daughtry & Melinda, contestants that are early front runners that go out in 4th/3rd place. Casual voters have to keep up with tweens with unlimited text plans and the core fan groups that the guys seem to develop.

I agree. Even Adam Lambert was clearly the best last year and didn't win. I think they need to incorporate judges's scoring into the equation kinda like Dancing With the Stars does. Because as they continue to prove in all kinds of media, Americans are fricking retarded consumers.

My wife and I hate his corny arse. Probably a nice guy, but just oozes douche on t.v. And he may be the fattest personal trainer of all time. What kind of 'tard would go to him?

I don't think his performance even matters at this point. And how much influence does votefortheworst.com have? Or is all just tweenage girls keeping him in this?

It was good, but I thought he, Aaron, and even Casey had really bad song choices(though the judge's didn't agree with me on Casey). The Beatles have written the greatest melodies of all time, and they all picked more obscure songs, with much less recognizable melodies. Great songs, sure, but you've got one chance to rock a Beatles song, I'd have gone with one with a great melody that people would have immediately recognized and remembered.

There's a great version of "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" in the movie Across the Universe that I was hoping someone like Siobahn(?) should have done. And though it was still good, wasn't Bowersox doing "Come Together" kind of cliche? I called that she would do that as soon as I heard the theme. Great song, but I don't think I've ever heard a cover band not do this song. Again, I think she missed a chance to do something really special. But that's just nit-picking as she's clearly the best of the group.

And I think it might be in Bowersox's best interest as an artist to not win. The winner is beholden to American Idol and their label for at least a little while, and I think she'd have more artistic freedom if she signed with another label. Which she would the 1st day she was eligible.

BTW, is David Archuleta a squirrelly little dude or what?

The bottom 3 were exactly who I thought they would be.

Spoilers .....

I'm a little surprised that Mike was at the bottom. But, I'm okay with it. Maybe this will humble him a little? He always seems so arrogant.

I hate that the judges used the save so early. They put their favorites at risk. Now if dread head,Casey or Lee slip up and end up at the bottom, they can't do anything about it.

say what? somebody married your dumb arse?

anyway the whole thing with the judges (especially the hysterical act Kara put on) seemed fake. Sort of like an attention/ratings grab to get people talking about the show again. I really dont believe the show producers wanted to be in a position where Mike goes home this week and Andrew next week and it becomes the biggest white bread season in AI history.

I predict next week Andrew and Katie go home. Bowersox/Magnus/Casey are the final three and Casey runs away with it.

GTFO.

Didi was awful. She had no business in the Top 12.

First of all..WTF Adam Lambert mentoring the contestants? A guy who was clearly the judges favorite but didn't win his own season of Idol is mentoring?

My bottom 3 this week.

Andrew
Aaron
Mike

Even though Mike did an okay job and the judges seemed to love him. It was way too predictable for him to do "In The Ghetto". I said it before the show started as soon as I knew the were doing Elvis. Mike is gonna do In The Ghetto.

I was a little disappointed in Siobahn's choice of songs. But I think she's way too good of a singer to vote out at this point.

Casey's performance kinda sucked too. But, he's too popular to go home.

The others better watch out for Tim. He's actually starting to perform and he already had an army behind him.

Oh and can ellen really tell a 16 yr old girl that a song was "horny"? Knowing Ellen's sexual preference, I think that was kinda creepy.

it's way past time for him to go. the dude is terrible. i don't know how he even made the top 12. as far as who else should go at this point i'll go with aaron based on recent performances even though i hope it's tim.

i liked him in the beginning, but he is a cover artist playing acoustic guitar. When he is out of that element, he is really bad. i thought tim would've been gone long ago, but now he's improving and becoming a real competitor.

he goes home this week along w/ siobhan or katie.

i like lee and casey but i doubt either of them win.
