season 2: Kimberly Caldwell or Clay aiken. NOT a morbidly obese Ruban studdard

season 4:everybody was happy this season
season 5: Kellie Pickler or chris daughtry
season 6:everybody was happy this season
season 7:david archuleta or brooke white
season 8:adam lambert
season 9:worst season of all-crystal bowersox shoulda won
season 10:Pia or Haley

5 of the top 10 post American idol money earners aren't even winners. Only one of the top 3 earners is a winner (Carrie underwood).

The producers on the show have a good idea about who is marketable and who will make money after the show. If they would have rigged the show, they would have chose better people than lets say someone like Lee Dewyze who isn't even in the top 20 of idol earners!

Will the bottom 2 go home this week? I believe that's how it was done last year on the episode following the save.

I'm pretty sure they are singing two songs each this week and the theme is Motown and songs from a movie.

Just a guess, I think that because of big jermaine getting kicked off and they still eliminated someone that week, in order for the numbers to line up right they will only kick off one this week. Usually when someone is saved, two people get knocked off but I don't think that is the case this time because of the jermaine thing.

I was off on the theme for this week. Apparently the theme will be “Now & Then” with each contestant singing two songs: A Billboard No. 1 hit from 2000 to 2012, and a “soul” song from a previous decade.
