When Bane is fighting Batman, why does he say that he was born in the Dark and didn't see light until he was a man? I thought Talia was the child born in the dark prison.

They were both born and raised in that prison. And I think Bane was being metaphorical in that little speech of his.

It was clearly stated that Ra's rescued Bane and trained him. He just couldn't stand the sight of him anymore or something and kicked him out of the League eventually.

He was kicked out of the League of Shadows by Ra's al Ghul because the sight of him did nothing but remind him of the prison he left his wife to die in. Also I don't think he liked the fact that Talia had the hots for Bane.

Box office numbers are in:
160.9 opening, 249 world wide
It looks to me like the tragedy definitely affected the numbers. TDK opened to 158 several years ago so people just didn't come out as much this weekend.

I like to think they had a brother-sister type relationship. By the way Bane and Talia acted during Talia's monologue to Batman, the two of them clearly loved one another. The look on Bane's face as Talia said good-bye to him just before she left City Hall was probably the only time in the film that I actually felt bad for the villain.
