Ocean's 11 Plot Holes

I was watching Oceans's 11 on TV, and 2 things have always bothered me about the movie.
1. Why does the safe door blast not trigger the green lasers in the vault or set off any other sort of alarm?
2. How do they get the hooker ads in the vault?

The power was only out for going down the elevator shaft. I'll say with the elevator shaft closed off the vault blast wasn't big enough to register. #2 is an actual plot hole though. Nobody on the inside was there to give Benedict's people the bags with the fliers to load in the van.
