It is nice that the rookies are actually fighting for themselves this season instead of the annual mow down. Last year was particularly bad.

Landon literally pulled her through that final. Never seen anything like it.
. No way Anessa could even make it an hour in a final. She's gotta be a legit 250lbs now.
Its absutely embarrassing if mtv is paying her even remotely close to the same as someone like Bananas or CT or even Jordan... All of which can actually finish a final.

Horacio, you’re good but call down. You didn’t show everyone how awesome you are but beating Turbo and Tamara. Literally everyone was helping you win.
It is an absolute shite deal that Jordan is paired with Aneesa. Completely shitty for him. And it will likely burn him. It also feels super forced that they are BFF ride or dies. Almost like how much of a stretch some of those teams on the first battle of the exes were.
It’s awesome that Fessy’s name means “decision maker” and he’s one of the dumbest people on the challenge. It would be like if Nelson’s name translated to “master of grammar” or some bullshite.
Fessy is so stupid. All he has is good looks. And he thinks he’s a pimp and is doing anything with the girls on the show when it’s really just because he’s a good looking dude. Even his strategies don’t make sense when he explains them.
I feel weirdly glad to see Jordan and Tori work through some of their bullshite.
Tommy and Analyse are dumb for not saving Horacio and Olivia. They are much stronger than Kim and Colleen, so they have a much better chance of winning future daily challenges and could work together with them. Instead you’ve now thrown in two of the best rookie teams to know one out, which only hurts rookie chances moving forward.
This is a cool arse elimination. And of course Horacio and Olivia practically dominate it. And man, that one second advantage up top seems huge.
I feel like I’ll be saying this every week. Man, Nurys is fricking smoke.
ETA: holy shite, they’re being ANOTHER (assumed) vet team? That’s not fair at all for rookies in this game. Damn.

Insaaaaanely big mistake. As you mentioned, less likely to come back, AND the Europeans seem quieter and less likely to pop-off about how they betrayed them. So dumb.

You must not have watched the preview episode they aired a few days before the first episode. We've been knowing who the vet teams are (just not how they entered the game).

I'm sure Jordan got a fat check for being on. No way I'd agree to be on the show if you know you already lost coming out the gate. The purpose why he's on this season is the Tori story line.
Really impressed with the rookie teams. It's going to make future seasons very competitive.

Yeah the rookies are screwed but it is way more entertaining this way.
I am not sure how much input Jordan got with who his partner is. Jordan/Aneesa make for an interesting team in the sense that she is BFFs with his ex fiance and that they are polar opposites. He is one of the best players of all time and she is historically terrible and seems to be in even worse shape this season.

His original partner was supposed to be Nia but she had to pull out at the last minute.

maybe worst case scenario for jordan, silver lining is the bult in political power that comes from close ties with tori/devin, bananas/nany from aneesa's sphere. almost seems forced after having to pivot from nia for tori relationship drama. bc jordan cant carry aneesa through a final, maybe only ct could

its not fair to anyone in the house, but rookies esp getting rekt by it only being vets.
its like running a marathon but professionals start joining in the same race at 5-6 miles in.

I remember seeing some just not specifically who all was shown.
But my point is if they only bring in vets and no rookie teams then they are stacking the deck hugely in favor of the vets. This show always boils down to vets vs. rookies.

I thought so at first too, but it’s clear they are working with the other Big Brother vets like Fess and Kaycee and they did it to earn stripes with them.
Devin even said “getting some Big Brother vibes on this one TJ”. So it’s clearly a move that they think will help them get farther down the road when the vets start taking shots at each other.
Also found it interesting that Bananas was the one trying to comfort them after the daily. Clearly he was in their ear telling them the vets wouldn’t be coming after them if they help get rid of tue two strong rookie teams.
Season has been pretty good once the real vets started showing up.
Next group should be the last one based on the preview show, and it’s another strong guy with an anchor partner.
