I didn’t either. I did have an issue with his complete 180 in the span of about 14 mins .

Honest, there’s so much of the show that needed more time just to fix right.

I will stand my ground and say that the Arya kill steal makes perfect sense for her storyline, and the prophecies about Jon being Azor Ahai being false fall right in line with the kind of story GRRM wanted to tell.

So much plot armor and stupid shite at the end though didn’t fit.

Ive always hoped he pushes her out of the window of the red keep.

Something like she tries to calm him down by seducing him again, and this time he just pushed the bitch out of a tall window instead.

We know she dies by strangulation.

GRRM personally wrote this scene on the show, so I think this is the foreshadowing of both Cersei’s and Tommen’s death: Blackwater End. Personally I think when Aegon is besieging King’s Landing that the gold cloaks and/or the Sparrows will just let his army in, and Cersei brings Tommen to the throne room to poison him. As soon as Tommen drops dead, Jaime enters the throne room. Cersei is overjoyed to see him thinking they’ll die together as they always planned, but Jaime instead explains to Cersei why he actually killed Aerys. Cersei will slowly realize she became the Mad Queen and that Jaime is the Valonqar. Jaime will then tell her that he negotiated Tommen’s life be spared by Aegon and then he strangles her.
