I think most of us loved him as a screenwriter then he hit a first pitch grand slam as a director with ex machina.
I also liked annihilation but it obviously wasn’t on the level of ex machina.
The trailer for this looks excellent.
He’s still playing with house money for me tbh

Yeah ex machina is a freakin masterpiece. I like annihilation as well. Devs was really good too.
His movies are almost beyond comprehension for the human mind. Dude had to partake to come up with some of the storylines he has

Ex Machina is one of my favorite movies in the last 20 years. I really wanted to like Annihilation, but I just couldn’t get into it

Saw this on Sunday. It was very bizarre. I liked it but…I’ll put it this way. I’m glad I saw it and I will never see it again. Also, be prepared for penis, like a lot.

There’s nothing about this movie that looks enticing. And I watch a lot of random weird stuff.
I also didNT like annihilation at all mainly because i felt it was boring.

I’m still unpacking it. It’s not a movie I “enjoyed”. I don’t regret watching it though. It’s still a unique horror movie.
