I thought it was alright. It's one of those movies that I liked, but didn't think about at all after seeing it. I did think Vulture was pretty cool though. Definitely one of the better Marvel villains

Movie was pretty meh. I wouldn't call it awful. Vulture was actually a decent villain, so that was nice.

Have to agree with OP. As a Spider-Man movie, not very good. As a fun super hero, was pretty good. Hated how Peter had to keep on trying to impress Stark. Aunt May. come on. Also he is supposed to be 15? So much I didn't like as a true Spider-Man fan, but enjoyed as a hero movie

It's not awful. I thought it was pretty solid. Not Marvels best movie or anything, but it was solid.

It was pathetic. Flash was Peter's
Chief antagonist in his beginning years and they reduced it some wormy shite talking minority role. Peter's fear of him was so fake. Utter fail.

I'm about halfway through it, and it's pretty fricking terrible. I hate the fat Asian kid with a passion. He's one of the most annoying characters I've seen in awhile.
Peter is a stereotypical teen who thinks he's grown up depiction. Not a lot of depth to him at all. They toss a few jokes in, which seem like they were written for a 10 year old.
Which is what it is. It's an older kids movie. And that's fine. I'm obviously not in it's target demographic. Considering how much money is made, it's ratings, and that fact that I didn't see it in the theater, I'd say they good job of entertaining their audience.
