shite is intense, well produced, sucks that the original is in Spanish, and they had to do voice overs for English, but it was better than reading subtitles the entire season. I really enjoyed it though, and I won’t give any spoilers, but there is a shite load of twists and turns and the end of the season is a banger. Good shite highly recommend!

I’m really liking it. I suspect it is a ramped up version of a Mexican soap opera. And Elisa is a smoke show.

I’ve now watched Netflix originals from France, Germany, Sweden, Iceland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Spain, Russia and Belgium. Closed captions do not bother me at all. And I enjoy watching the presentation of these stories and talent from around the world.
And I use closed captions for programming from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland and Australia and New Zealand because though the language is the same, it does not always sound the same.

I have it on my watchlist. Can you watch in Spanish with CC turned on? I refuse to watch shows with overdubbing.

I started it but its sort of not what I was expecting and more soap opera-ish. Its not bad or anything and ill probably finish it, but if I hadn't already watched basically everything since covid stated I probably wouldn't have bothered.

I have friends who refuse to watch a series if it is a foreign show because they don't want to read the subtitles and they don't like the dubbed version (which I agree dubbed sucks)
I tell them they are missing out on some excellent television. Of course they are always looking for a new show but refuse to watch some excellent series.

I’m on episode 4, enjoying it so far. I have a theory who did it. Yes, Elisa and Rodolfo’s wife are smoking hot. Elisa has some nice cans she shows off.

What's some of your favorites (besides Dark obviously b/c it's the best show ever)? I'm just coming out the end of a South Korean show rabbit hole. Looking for something new and open to suggestions.

The best shows on Netflix are mostly foreign. I always look at the top 10 shows and laugh. Just straight up garbage

I’m going to give you two:
Watch “The Method”. It’s a Russian show about a young female detective who teams up with a veteran but strange senior detective to solve a bunch of murders. Paulina Andreeva stars and she is perhaps one of the most beautiful actresses I’ve seen. And Russian programming is very different than the west. Men are men and women are well, women. If you like Paulina watch “Better Than Us. Gawd there are a bunch of gorgeous Russian women in that show. Futuristic show about the interactions of humans and robots. Paulina is a bot who looks like a Barbie Doll.
For a funny show watch the French show “Call My Agent” or “Dix Pour Cent” as it is known in France. It’s about an office of show business agents. And while that may not sound funny, it’s got an Office similarity about the office dynamics. I love the way French women can roll 20 no, no, no, no’s off their tongue faster than we can say five.
I could give you more. I also subscribe to Acorn TV. I’ve watched a bunch of stuff on that.

When I got to the end there are previews for Season 2. I just read Netflix confirmed a season 2 five days after season 1 dropped. Season 2 will premier on May 19 this year.

I started it a day or so ago. The acting is subpar at best and I found myself having to force myself to watch it. So far its pretty predictable too.

Im gonna give it another shot, but its not very high on my list

You should go to one of those large city boutique Indy film theatre’s if you need intellectual stimulation. But I forgot, those places are still likely closed for the CoVid. I hope you can find something to your liking out there.
