It’s laughable that they’re using CTE as a big reason he’s a murderer

How did you gather that from this documentary ? There’s no reason to think it didn’t play a part in his behavior, specifically his judgment.

I think people have gotten way ahead of the science with CTE. What's normal vs abnormal? What causes what? I think scientifically we just don't know that much at this point.

It's true. The only way you can study a brain like that is if someone is dead. There's no well characterized cohort of 27 year old brains waiting to be sliced and diced. If you're just getting a brain here and a brain there from all different types of people in all different circumstances it's difficult to draw scientific conclusions from that. There are ways to mitigate this and draw some conclusions, but I don't think we're at the point where it's been demonstrated these brain changes are 100% caused by football and affect a person in these specific ways. Now if an NFL player has any type of problem at any point in their life everyone screams CTE which is far beyond the state of the science.

Great documentary. What a mix of conflicting feels it gave me.

He was apparently a sociopath, but his mother was obviously very selfish, and his father a hard-arse, and he suffered from childhood sexual abuse and CTE.

Made me feel bad for Aaron, even though he became a murderer. What a lost, fricked up kid.

The CTE angle at the end of the documentary was interesting, however I wonder how much of it was football related - and how much was related to all the K2 shite and marijuana he smoked, as well as being anoxic from hanging himself.

I thought it was pretty good and fortunately only three episodes. My conclusion was that there were a lot of different factors that all played a role in him becoming an 'evil' type guy. On the other hand, I still felt a bit of empathy for him at times.

I'm not sure what the issue was with Odin. It could have been something about Aaron's gay secret but more likely (?) would be some sort of disagreement with the sisters or possibly hearing about the 1st murder and telling someone about it.

The channel Reelz, had their own "investigative" documentary on it last night and they were trying to say it wasn't the whole gay thing that Lloyd found out. They were hinting that Lloyd was stealing drugs from Aaron. Who knows what the real story is.

In the end he was a violent sociopath who got off on murdering people. Everything else is for the birds.

Watched another one on Oxygen and its also been much better.

Baez is a ridiculously talented defense lawyer. Probably doesn't have a soul but damn.

If he's not an actual murderer, he's certainly a 2nd degree accomplice no matter what.

Dude offed himself with a lot of guilt and days after the radio shows were completely outing him.

I think the sexuality thing was the real key to all this.

The ID channel started a 4 hour, 2 part series last night. Part 2 airs tonight. It brings up several more details the Netflix doc omitted, things brought up during trial testimonies. Lots of investigative evidence Netflix didn’t get into. Unfortunately it also gives the creepy high school blow buddy more time as well.

I watched it tonight
Have mixed feelings about it
Can’t believe the defense team didn’t get a psych analysis of him
He clearly had a lot of self loathing

She's not. And if I was gay should could straighten me out.
