Netflix streaming issues?

I use a roku player. All other channels seem fine but Netflix consistently has buffering issues, usually stalls at 25% or so. Getting pretty sick of it. Anyone else have the same experience?

I have a Roku 3 that’s been acting up for a while (months). YouTube, Hulu, Emby, Amazon, etc all work fine, but Netflix takes forever to buffer when first starting something. I’ve gotten in the habit of firing up the PS4 whenever I want to use Netflix.

Same with my RokuTV. Each company blames the other so neither will do anything about it.

Check your data down rate through the Netflix app. The only time I have had any issues in the last year was when my router needed some TLC but Netflix was the most sensitive to lower rates than any of my apps. My experience is with Roku Ultra boxes.

My Roku does this often and only with Netflix. I'll sometimes have to go to Roku settings and check the speed to make it work.

That will happen on my Roku Ultra occasionally. Rebooting the Roku usually solves it. If that doesn't work try deleting and reinstalling Netflix.
I assume your Roku is not hard wired. From my experience most performance issues are because of poor/inconsistent wifi.

I have the same issue with my Roku TV. Netflix will load to 25% and just hang there. We use the tv for Amazon Prime and YouTube with no issues.
It isn't our wifi. I can watch Netflix on my phone just fine.
It has to be something with Roku. I think I will delete Netflix and reload it.
I am glad I am not the only one with this issue.
