That's an opinion. Agree or not
An opinion stolen, regurgitated, and coming from someone totally ignorant to the actual media the opinion is derived about(from a person who also had not seen the full work)....
It's the equivalent of if I waltzed into the Yellowstone thread, a show I have never seen, only passingly heard second-hand opinions of from people that have seen a couple of episodes, and decided to accuse it of a bunch of bullshite. Then when called out, doubling down and acting like a man child for pages
....Nerdrotic is not going to frick you because you go to the mat defending every one of his shitty hot takes, you can stop metaphorically blowing him all over the forum

Joss is all that and more. He mocked teenage girl cancer survivors and implied they were in auditioning for 'servicing' President Trump.
But 2 things he also did was gather really good talent and create amazing TV and movie stories.

Which is why his behavior was tolerated for so long. He made hit shows. Firefly wasn't a hit, so it got the axe.

Firefly wasn't a hit because the execs sabotaged the series before it aired, tried to sell it as a comedy (it wasn't) and didn't air the episodes in order. Plus having MLB playoffs bump the show a few times made getting traction with new viewers was next to impossible.
Anyone remember John Doe? Aired back-to-back with Firefly on FOX. Starred Dominic Purcell and William Forsythe.
Suffered the same fate, gone after 1 season. Very X-Files like, and well written. One of the better (unintentional) series finales though.

I loved John Doe. I was sad that it got cancelled. I remember being unsure whether his knowledge was being constantly updated or if he was predicting everything. He would have been one heck of a football coach. I didn’t remember that it aired with Firefly, which I didn’t watch until after it aired.

It also wasn't that good of a show.

The only reason I watched Firefly was because a lady friend of mine would NOT shut up about Buffy. She was really into that show. I wasn't about to watch some Vampire/slayer show about kids in HS, but a 'space Western' series, I could handle.
Pretty sure John Doe came on after. The premise was really interesting, so I stuck around. I really liked it.
Somewhere I may still have a pirated Low-fi version of the series on disc.

Did the mean YouTuber's opinions hurt your feewings?
No, they just can’t respond because they don’t post here and your responses mean nothing because you haven’t watched it.
I miss the golden days of the MTV board when people actually watched the shows and movies they discussed.
