It's good. It's not amazing, but it's better than most shite out there.
It's on trend in that half the show is so dark you can barely see the action. A lot of that is realism, but it's not great for the viewer.

Amazon needs to do more shows like this and Jack Ryan. Make it the brand.
They are so much better than most of their other crap shows like “Love”.

I swear some people look for it in every form of entertainment today. My friend (who's a cop) is like this. He even has a comment about every commercial. I can't watch TV with him anymore. It's non stop. I don't know. I just watched stuff to be entertained.
Ironically he loves the Terminal List and even buys the authors hats and merch online.

I'm not a MAGA person and the "socio-political agenda" in that show is unapologetic.

Ridiculous plot and story aside. Fundamentally, this is the problem with the show. He's not a tough guy and he can't sell it.

First season was pretty good so we were excited for the second season, but it was exactly as you say. We didn't finish it.

That show was the epitome of 'woke', and there's simply no other way to describe it. The villain was Venezuela's ultra-Right Wing fascist dictator.
For those without any knowledge of the real world, Venezuela has been hard Left Socialist/Communist since the 1990's.
The story itself was tripe, you're not going to be able to storm the presidential palace and punch El Presidente in the nose (the season climax) either way. But the fact that they skewed the politics 180 degrees to the opposite, so they could have a 'popular uprising' being led by Leftists instead of the Right-wing opposition that actually exists, was a joke.

Wasn't that in one of the first scenes of season 2? I noticed that too and cut it off when I heard that because I knew the rest was going to be garbage. Amazon ruined Without Remorse too, which sucks because it's one of my favorite books
