Great nominations, don't think I saw Cabin Boy on here, I thought several parts were pretty funny, but if for no other reason than the cameo by David Letterman "Man, I hate f&^kin' fancy lads!"
+1
Love Chris Elliot. Get A Life was one of the most underrated comedies of its time.

Surprised nobody mentioned it but it's easily better than all those 80s teen movies it parodies.

I can't stand Bette Midler but I've always liked:
Oh and speaking of Ray Liotta and dark comedies:

War of the Roses is a solid dark comedy.

I almost said Heathers and Ruthless People, but wasn't sure if they fit the underrated description. Then again, many on here don't really fit that.
Good call on Men at Work. I had completely forgotten about that movie.

Dirty Work
(would've been great if they made it R)

More than any other genre, comedies depend too much on my mood. Some movies seem so funny, then upon rewatch, leave me saying WTF.
The most glaring example I can think of was Harlem Nights. The first time I saw it was at the theater with a bunch of buddies. I've literally never laughed so hard at a movie. The second time I saw it, I don't remember even a chuckle.

this and for some reason i can never turn off "can't hardly wait"
i submit "Brain Donors" as a movie i liked that no one else seemed to like or know about. it's a pure marx brothers homage and tuturro is one helluva groucho.

I'd say "Role Models" is underrated

Not a huge fan of hers either but imo Drowning Mona is underrated. Very funny flick.
