Halloween 4 is my favorite of the old ones.
Halloween (new one) is up there.

Also check out The Ritual.

And I can't stress enough for vampire fans to see Near Dark if they haven't yet. Let Me In is another original take on the genre.

Just finished this one. Uh, that was pretty……intense.

I liked the twist though. It’s not pure horror, per se. But it’s scary knowing shite like that has happened and people have gone through similar situations.

All in all, solid flick. And while it certainly didn’t “frick me up,” it’s a rough watch at times for sure.

The Abominable Dr. Phibes (1971)

Vincent Price's character exacts methodical revenge on the doctors he holds responsible for his wife's untimely death.

This film influenced other films like Se7en and Saw. Not super scary but definitely a classic worth seeing if you're a fan of the horror genre.
