As far as I’m concerned, I think it should be illegal to intentionally bury a patent or intellectual property simply because some tyrannical Woke a-hole like yourself happens to inherit it. You have five years to use it, and if you won’t, then it becomes public domain. If you’ll say this is fine, you’ll defend any tyranny. Downvote.

Anyhoo the titles they pulled were relatively obscure and some of the illustrations we’re playing on old caricatures.
I too like physical copies of things but except for books there’s always the problem of the equipment needed to play it becoming obsolete and difficult to find or replace when it breaks doen

I too prefer owning physical media for stuff I really like and don't have to worry about never having access. You get better video and audio with less compression. Also, no online streaming offers lossless audio.
Within the last year or so, I finally catalogued my movie collection. I found the best/easiest way for me was just an Excel document.
As of right now, today, the total is 1,679.
1,370 DVDs (1,352 DVD, 14 HDDVD, 4 Bluray)
309 VHS tapes
I have a problem, I know.

Zero, sadly. My only Betamax experience was that one day one of my buddies showed me his old man's porn when we were kids, and it was on BM.

That could have been me...
My family was one of the ones that went Betamax out of the gate. As a standard, it was MUCH better than VHS, and tapes lasted forever and the quality of recorded shows was really fantastic in comparison. Problem was VHS eventually "won" and it became nearly impossible to find the small Beta tapes and the machines they'd play on.
And thanks OM...great list! Sorry for pestering you about it forever...
I'm, kind of an idiot here, in that I worked at a video store in the early 90's and had a huge movie collection because of that, which were all VHS. As DVDs came along, I replaced most of them as discs. Then Blu rays came and I replaced them again... It was just like the scene from Men In Black where TLJ says he's gonna need to buy the White Album again. Then with streaming services I not only stopped buying blu rays (except for the MCU films (pre Disney+) but actually sold many back to fricking Amazon for almost nothing. Now as things are getting digitally burned, I'm wanting to do as you've suggested and grab hard copies of these things before they're gone or altered into oblivion. I have a solid group of titles still of ones that I'd have never gotten rid of, but there are many on your list that I'd have never thought to own, but would hate to never see again in their original state or gone forever.
