Excellent film I've watched several times. Sorry you didn't enjoy it, not every film is for everyone. I didn't feel it moved slow at all though, seemed to have plenty of action to me.

Definitely enjoyed it, but wasn't some modern classic. Thought the plot was a little plain. Great acting by that young kid though.

I liked it but it wasn't my favorite movie of the year. It gets hyped because it seemed to start the McConaissance.
I actually think Jeff Nichols other film Take Shelter was a better movie that gets overlooked.

I liked it. It's refreshing to see a movie set in the deep south and isn't about how evil whitey is or overuse common tropes like alcoholic southern dad.
