re: MTV The Challenge: Total Madness

This is a knee jerk overreaction based on this weeks menu special. MTV, like many others, are trying to cater to the liberal PC agenda. I’m not a fan of Dee, but I have a hard time see any justification of her being “fired” and the heavy editing that was done on this weeks episode. In the past, MTV would air a disclaimer or a PSA and continue on. Jordan was sexually assaulted by Naya, Camilla unloaded on Leroy over him being black, CT and Darrell among others physically assaulted other cast members....and all were allowed to come back with little to no consequences.

Bayleigh shouldn’t have been allowed on the show If MTV is now about social injustice based on her time in BB. She belittled and ridiculed a cast member who was a midget and a homosexual.

IMO, MTV went way overboard on all of this. If Dee is gone, a lot of the cast should be “fired” for their prior actions. But that would all but end the show, and MTV isn’t about to lose out on the cash cow that has become a million dollar game.

I wonder if every episode will be cut short moving forward?

Yep she'll only be there competing in a challenge or an elimination. No talking heads at all.

Idk why, but the last couple episodes have kind of annoyed me and made me think there’s either weird editing or the producers have been involved a lot behind the scenes.

-Wtf have Wes and Bananas been doing?!? It still makes no sense that they didn’t send in Cory against Nelson. That was so obvious, why give a fvck about a layup like Bear?

-Why the hell did Wes, the master manipulator, allow Bananas to get himself voted in on the week when Wes was in tribunal? It makes zero sense for Bananas to do it (regardless of the fact that he won), nor does it make any sense that Wes allowed him to do that.

-That’s the other thing I don’t understand about this setup. Does no one understand the power you’re giving people when you vote them in? It makes no sense why people are giving someone like Bananas his wish. Furthermore, why have they seemingly had this honor code not to vote back in someone once they win a skull (except for the tiny dude lol and Dee who they all hate)? If they were smart and/or ruthless they would keep throwing the same person in once they had a red skull.

-I hate the seemingly random eliminations. I much prefer something relatively physical. Smashing holes to pull out batteries was pretty lame IMO. The tunnel elimination for the girls was much better.

-I really want Dee to win. I know she sucks, but the show needs villains. She’s the only girl worth a damn from a story standpoint if Nani isn’t gonna be hooking up with people and/or Kaila isn’t gonna be doing her crazy shite. Screw MTV for getting all holier than thou about some weird comments she made given what they’ve allowed to air on their shows.

I agree on letting Bananas (or whoever) just vote themselves in. But if you know you need a red skull to get to the final, you can't keep voting in the same people or you'll never get your shot. Now, once you've got that red skull I think it makes perfect sense to vote in all the other red skull holders to try and limit the number of competitors in the final.

So, I just flipped over to see if the challenge would be 90 min or an hour (it's 90 min tonight).

What mtv has done is even more egregious than last week. It's almost to the point I want to boycott the show.

In the recap, they literally wouldn't even show Dee's face. They shaped it totally around Mattie losing and Melissa being pissed. The one brief clip they showed was Dee falling through the sand and winning... But it was just her back with her head down.

In the 1st 10 minutes of tonight, you wouldn't even know Dee ever existed in the show. And now, instead of seeing Dee on the warpath and confront Rogan, the first 10 minutes of tonight is just a bunch of random ppl (Josh. Swaggy, Fessie,) just talking about trying to go into elim. It's boring as hell.

They took the biggest drama memoent of the season an erased it.
. Now we get Cory talking about missing his daughter.


Who gives a shite. It's almost as bad as Jenna and Zach vidoe calls.

At this point I hope Dee makes the final just because I wanna see how they edit it to pretend she's not there.

And as if it needed to be said, Josh is a complete idiot.

I agree that the Dee shite is legit pissing me off. Like I was irrationally mad about it last night. You fired her, cool. I hate her so NBD. But to edit shite and pretend that she isn’t even on the show is fricking stupid. Not to mention that it’s harder to hate her when I can’t even see her stupid face. It makes me want to not watch anymore.

Josh is a fricking pussy and an idiot. Dude talks so much shite and then is all “I don’t want to go down there unless I see it and am confident.” GTFO, dude. As much as I hope Kyle can get through, I almost hope that they get fricked for avoiding elimination this long and TJ is just like “okay that’s it, y’all go home.”

Swaggy is borderline worthless. Didn’t someone say he was a college athlete (even if he didn’t actually play)? Dude looked like a child on that harness. That should’ve been the easiest elimination to handle outside of Jenny’s cakewalk. And he spazzed out. And he wanted nothing to do with being in there either.

I’m really digging Fessy. He is huge and good as shite, but also seems chill and has a good grip on the game. Hope he stays around for a while on challenges.

Bayleigh loses her man and then goes psycho next week? Nice. I’ve seen people mention her temper. Guess we’ll see if finally.
