I wish they would have waited until after the finale to reveal the existence of the karma vote. Bananas knew he was screwed from the beginning. It's actually surprising he didn't finish last. Gay Derek performed really well in that finale. I'm kind of shocked how bad Kyland was.
Jordan is going to eventually pass Bananas and CT as the all time Challenge goat. He's never mentally checked out like CT sometimes is and isn't as hated as John.

Yeah, 40 is a big cast to get through. Plus they skipped a few weeks here and there either because of the holidays or some other MTV programming (I think their movie awards fell on a Wednesday). Simply not airing every week extended the damn thing by like a month.

Yeah but he also talked about how he loves this and he’ll say yes as long as they call. Even said something like “I’m in for Challenge 50.”
I’m just glad they brought him back after blackballing him for several years. Still wish we could get Kenny and Evan back.

Heard on a podcast the other day how Kenny talked about the Tonya situation and how they got accused of something that didn't happen and at the end of the day he can rest easy knowing that what was accused didn't happen 100%.
Drunk mentally ill tonya pulled a duke lacrosse on everyone and got herself and Kenny and Evan banned. Those 2 would have made the challenge era so much better. Their era was prime challenge days.
Gay Ryan. Gay Derek. Brandon would have been cut and Wes, Kenny and Evan would have been added to Era 2. Probably the strongest era by far when you add in the women on Era 2. Kelly Ann would have gotten replaced by Camila if she wasn't banned. Evelyn might have take Emily (living in a van down by the river) spot.

Laurel, Cara Maria, Evelyn, Camila, Aviv

That seems like something that is verifiable via footage from the thousand cameras they have everywhere. The problem for me is that it did always seem like something he and Evan would’ve done just being idiots.

That is my thing. If they did it why wouldn't Tonya lawyer take them to jail. They don't have footage and that is why I don't believe it and they settled out of court.

Watched part one of the reunion last night. It was mostly a waste of time. I don’t know why they drag that shite out so much. It’s a 90 minute episode and they feel the need to have TWO fricking parts? Insanity.
I mostly watched it after commercial breaks and if it was a topic I was interested in then I watched and if not I FFWD’d. Only really interesting thing to me was John explaining where he was coming from with the Devin/Michelle thing. He’s still mostly full of shite about it but there was at least some back history to support himself.

Well...at least we actually got to see who the winners of the final were during the actual final episode rather than them making us watch both parts of the reunion to do so.
We are binging through old seasons, but are watching all of the stuff from about season 26 or 27 onward for the first time. We just finished Vendettas and that is 2 seasons in a row where they waited until the reunion to announce the winner. I hope that doesn't become a trend.
Also...I'm getting close to seasons 33-35 which aren't available for streaming so if anyone has a way to watch those on the TV, I'm all ears.
RE: Season 40 and the reunion, I didn't really find any of the house shenanigans to be all that interesting this season. It seemed like generally everyone was there with a job to do, rather than being there to FAFO. The challenges and eliminations were great. The extra curriculuars...not so much. Not sure I'll watch the reunion because of that.

Its been that way for a few years now. People are taking the game seriously instead of just being there to party and have sex with everyone else in the house. Also MTV has been cracking down on fighting, drugs, and just being mean. Except Laurel apparently.

That would make sense. We just finished the season where they bullied the big tittied british enough to make her quit. Reminiscent of that one chick (Tonya maybe?) getting her clothes thrown into the pool.

Laurel has been mean to Cara Marie since Nicole hit on her few seasons back. Made Laurel seeth with jealousy. Legit think she was in love with Nicole.
