I told you. This was complete BS. She dominated that final and they made her split everything with Rachel. Had to have that strong lesbian presence to preach Girl Power. If Jordan didn’t win 7 out of 8 check points they would have given it to Derek.
This is the CBS crap infiltrating The Challenge. Remember CBS made it a rule that they have to have more representation of LGBQTXYZ and POC. The karma vote is them manipulating the results to get what they want. Just as we’ve seen in Big Brother and Survivor.

Rachel with girls are better than the guys & then can't complete 1st check point. Jenny was robbed. Jordan dominated & still could have lost. Love watching this show but 40 was garbage.

Agreed at least both Rachel and Jenny are worthy winners. Jordan won so many of those checkpoints I figured there was no way he could lose.

Jordan only dominated because he's the best swimmer by far, and swimming made up a disproportionate amount of the final.
If it was mostly rowing/canoeing to and from the ship he would have been 4th.

The final was definitely too swimming heavy. Kyland was so fricked.

The karma vote was one of the dumbest things ever brought into the challenge. Had bananas been as good of a swimmer as Jordan he would have still gotten 3rd place so he had a 0% chance to win this season. So fricking stupid. This season had so much potential but the producers once again try too much and frick up a season. Less is more stop trying to add dumb shite and frick up the format. They need to go back to the old school format and finals and never bring the karma vote up again. They are trying too hard and never listen to the fans. Too many people in the finals also and it shouldn't be men vs women once you get to the finals.
Props to Jordan for dominating the final. That was made for him. He officially moves into the top 3 of all time with Bananas at 1 and CT at 2. Bananas now has 12 finals with 7 wins. Jordan now has 4 final wins.

The challenge is racist making Kylan swim the whole time who knew he would be a bad swimmer. With that said Klyan is a breath of fresh air to the newbie challengers. He is a challenge historian and always pays respects to the OG challengers. I have a soft spot for him. He just looked outmaned in this final.
The women were stacked this season. Tori coming in 4th just shows that. Tori boobs look better every year. If she didn't throw down so much BBC I would love to knock that down.
Props to Bananas angels Rachel and Jenny. Jenny obviously deserved to win but I always loved OG Rachel and don't mind the lesbian stuff with her because she was doing it when she wasn't throwing around that term on tv every 5 seconds. Feels like the producers are making her say that shite every 5 seconds now. Rachel wife is attractive.

I've been talking shite on gay Derek forever. He was a layup and terrible choice for season 40. I will apologize to him after his season performance. Not saying he is some kind of challenge pro but he impressed me this season.

She only won once and is generally considered one of the weaker winners ever. Runner up that season was probably "better" but no one really liked her.
She came back for the all winners season and was third place... taken to the finals because she was a layup and got no votes.
That said.. she's the only person to play multiple seasons and never get voted out, because she was generally well liked and she won her share of immunity too.

Holy shite, Tori was off by 984 coins? Yikes.
Man, Vietnam is fricking gorgeous. Although this is an unfairly-slanted-toward-swimming final, it has to be one of the coolest they’ve ever had (and prettiest locations).
I love that they edit Rachel talking shite about how the girls are kicking the guys’ asses and then immediately three guys get their keys before any girls do.
Of course there’s something that hinders Jordan because of his handicap. And of course he fricking wins anyway.
Man, that episode where Turbo loses it on Jordan for copying his walk is an all time great.
I like this math thing. Just a straight head to head and you’re rewarded by getting to it first. It kinda sucks it’s just simple math though.
Last place having to wait for the next to last person to get all the way back to Sinister is brutal though.
I love that they keep trying to write down these simple math problems. You can solve it in your head in half the time it takes to write it down.
And frick Michelle for wanting Derek to straight up give it to her and let her win.

Congrats, Rachel. You beat “every single man” on a checkpoint that literally used zero physical strength or skill at all. You held onto the machine the best.
So Jordan was first in 6 of 7 checkpoints. That’s legit incredible. He’s a fricking monster. He’s easily one of my favorite challengers of all time. And I legit hated him his first couple of seasons.
So the scoring is literally 4 through 1 based on how you finished? And the karma vote is worth fricking two checkpoints? That could be a legit six point swing (assuming you get two 1s and the other person gets two 4s). frick all that.
Thankfully it didn’t affect the guys, although it would’ve helped Derek a ton if Jordan wasn’t SO frickING GOOD.
Derek winning second place legit is impressive. He’s always been trash but he stepped it up this season…or I guess more accurately toward the end of this season. It’s weird that he refers to himself as a bitch and a lady and a girl every 30 seconds though.

Jordan: 27 / 4 / 31 / 13%
Derek: 19 / 8 / 27 / 30%
John: 15 / 2 / 17 / 12%

I’m glad it didn’t affect anything, but Derek’s karma vote was legit almost a third of his overall score. And Kyland’s was 40% (though mainly because his score was so low to begin with). That’s ridiculous.
Like Jordan didn’t ruffle many feathers this season and played a solid political game but he still got the second lowest karma points just because he’s good and people didn’t want him to win again. John certainly earned low karma but I bet half of his votes were also because he’s good and they didn’t want him to win either. That’s a fricking travesty to have something as dumb as a karma vote have that nuch weight in a final. Two checkpoints. With the 7 that’s 2/9 or 22%. That is WAAAAAAY too much.
Sucks that Michelle came in second but karma pushed her to third. But if the karma vote was gonna frick somebody I guess I’m glad it’s her. She did better in the final than I thought she would. But I hope the karma vote never shows it’s stupid arse again on the show.

It’s an all time accomplishment that Rachel went from competing alone as an era to winning the whole thing. But that really sucks for Jenny.
As much as I like Rachel, someone going from third to first strictly because of other people is complete bullshite. That has to go.
I’ve enjoyed this season, but it went on for far too long IMO. And the karma vote was a very bad experiment.
Challenge: All Stars - Rivals on January 29th? That’s in like three weeks. Not sure I want to jump back into another challenge season so soon after I’ve been watching this one for like six months. I need a break.
Man, Vietnam is fricking gorgeous. Although this is an unfairly-slanted-toward-swimming final, it has to be one of the coolest they’ve ever had (and prettiest locations).

The karma vote is terrible strictly from the standpoint that if you win eliminations you piss off 4 people every time. Michelle got fricked because of that.

this. My favorite finals are always the cold snowy mountains and kayaking and a little swimming and running and hikes and a few puzzles. Wasn't a fan of the 80% swimming.
