You are back tracking. This topic is to start the healing process. Now you are trying to justify your viewing shame.

Get back on the right track!

I never understand the hate for troopers. It was fantastic and not because it was some satire on fascism. I thought it was just a plain good old monster movie with some arse kicking, gore and tits.

Would you like to learn more? What more could you ask for?

Now 2 and 3 were terrible. And what I don't understand is some of the actors from 1 are in 3 and they seem to have forgotten how to act.

I'll bet NO one has seen this movie - "Sparkler".
It was so trashy that it was beyond funny.
Only made it to VHS format, never to DVD.

Pretty much anything with Spade is certified shameful material.

Man,

Joe Dirt and Starship Troopers, GREAT movies!!! (only David Spade movie I like)

Starship Troopers, naked hot women in showers, futuristic battles, the "commercials", I thought it was great, just the name sucked. Nothing to be ashamed about.

When I say ashamed, I am talking:

Taxi Cab (or what ever it is called)with Jimmy Fallon
The Animal
and almost any movie starring SNL members other than "Animal House" and "Caddy Shack" and a couple Adam Sandler movies.
Caddy Shack II would be shameful!!!

I think the ultimate movie to say you love and BETTER be ashamed would be "Rocky Horror Picture Show".

Have you ever seen this piece of garbage without all the audience participation?

I have seen it about 20 times at the Varsity back in the 80's, but I tried to watch it once when it was on VH1 a few months ago, it is HORRIBLE!!!

You realize it is based on the book, Starship Troopers by Robert Heinlein right? Book was more meaningful, but the movie was far more entertaining.

FWIW, Neal Patrick Harris was money in that movie.

What guy under 35 that you know doesn't own Tommy Boy? Black Sheep was the exact same movie and it was still great!!

I can't hear you, you're trailing off and did I catch a niner in there? Were you calling from a walkie-talkie?

Richard Hayden: Why not? I'd take you to the vet.
Tommy: Yeah I'll take you to the... Um...
Richard Hayden: Got that?
Tommy: Shut up.

Ugh, I can actually hear you getting fatter.

Tommy: Did you hear I finally graduated?
Richard Hayden: Yeah, and just a shade under a decade too, all right.
Tommy: You know a lot of people go to college for seven years.
Richard Hayden: I know, they're called doctors.

I like Music & Lyrics. But I have a think for Drew.

As chick flicks go I thought it was amusing.
