glaucon....you're right....i can't imagine Flash Gordon without Queen songs being played throughout.....to this day my favorite Queen song is "Flash".....Timothy Daulton, under-rated James Bond, kind of got his start in that movie....the dude that played Flash was awesome too....and the bird dudes....and the bald-headed bad guy....they also had some sexy, half-naked chicks in that movie....i love how the movie is very dreamy and trippy...what a classic..

Willie Wonka's Choc. Fact. was awesome too.........does anybody remember a crazy-arse movie that came out in the early 80's called "SUPERFUDGE"?....it was about this cop that was a clutz and he had some weird experience in the swamp and he ended up getting super-powers....for instance, he catches a bullet with his teeth and can run and keep up with cars on Interstate...crazy-arse movie....but a lost classic..

Try watching this movie for the first time with an adult and not cringe a bit during "Magic Dance"...

Most of the people on this post should have no shame. Shame would be liking the Traveling Pants crap or Divine Sisterhood. I mean 100% chick flicks that actually cause your balls to retract if viewed. Most of the movies mentioned have been good movies.

Exactly. Most movies listed here are not bad movies, some even shock me that people think they are ashamed to like:

Flash Gordon - Classic great rock movie
Both Brady Bunch movies - great satire movies
Armageddon
Water World - I love this movie
Pretty in Pink
16 Candles
Steel Magnolias

Here I one that would definitely be on the list, I like:

Decaprio's Romeo & Juliet (saw it at the theater)

As I've said before, I cannot not watch Roadhouse.

If I accidentally land on it while surfing, I'm stuck until the end of the movie.

are you sure the movie was superfudge? I seem to recall a movie like the one you are talking about. Didn't the guy lose the power if he saw something red?

I think you are talking about Super Fuzz.

A book by Judy Blume... and yes, I would be ashamed to have read that, if I ever had.

There is no listing on IMDB for Super Fudge. Also none for Super Fuzz because it was a foreign film.

Terrence Hill was in a ton of Italian movies. Yes it was in English but most of the actors were Italian.

The link below shows the Italian name but also shows on the page it was released as Super Fuzz in the US.

I usually always watch Waterworld when I come across it.

I agree also that there is no shame in liking "Love, Actually."

Here are my contributions...universally acclaimed movies, nee, classics, but against the "man code":

1. Fried Green Tomatoes

2. West Side Story

I usually stop what I'm doing when these movies come on and watch all 17 hours of them...

Lucky

That one is LEGIT!

We got a confirmed hit with Fried Green Tomatoes.

That is 100% certified chick flick. Confirmed. I have seen it, so I take the bullet too, and I confirm. That one is legit. I feel your shame.

Oh and going back to the last page.

Nothing wrong with Flash or Clash of the Titans.

Clash was one of the last films with effects by Ray Harryhausen. Anyone that disrespects Ray is a moron.

It's hard because shame is a subjective term. Some are ashamed by chic, nerd, poorly-made, or stupid movies.

I'm taking this to another level,

I liked this movie for a while:

Just about any Van Damme movie leads to years of shame therapy.

This movie was interesting because of its attempts at being quirky and witty, which sometimes fails, sometimes works, and the bad boy protagonist who has Ménage à trois' in between killing the villains.
