Everytime I see Porter's pick 6 I tear up and the first couple of times I cried like a baby. I get short of breath even thinking about it. I will always remember that moment as the second best in all of my life (I have one kid).

Not a movie but the "Jurassic Bark" episode of Futurama gets me every time.

Obvious one: Schindler's List. I held it together until Liam Neeson broke down, and I cried all the way through the credits.

Remember the Titans, after Bertire(sp?) gets in his wreck and Julian comes to see him.

The Pusuit of Happiness - the scene in the bathroom when Will locks the door and someone is banging on it. I can feel his pain of just being on the verge of giving up.
Boyz n tha hood - when Ricky got capped.
Of mice and men - when he had to kill the ruhtard.
Anything that includes children being hurt or worse will get me upset. I never cry but I get choked up.

good one.
also being a relatively new father, all of a sudden emotional stuff with kids in movies turns me into a goddamn blithering pansy.

Glory and United 91 are the only films that ever made me choked up

One and only one:
Empire of the Sun and in multiple scenes. The ending is too much, even though it's happy.
Sorry, I couldn't cry at the end of RUDY when "Who's the wild man now!?" is shouted. I thought it was stupid and reminded me why I hate Notre Dame. The movie was not even that good.

So after reading a few of you mention this one I fired it up on Netflix. 1 min 20 secs in and I turned it off. I see where this is leading and I am having a good day

Forrest Gump - when his mom and jenny die
Mr Hollands Opus - the end when he walks into the entire auditorium filled with former and current students
Saving Private Ryan - the end gets me every fricking time
Life is Beautiful
Schindlers List
Where the Red Fern Grows
Wow, I'm a giant pussy.

THIS. The idea of an underdog kid fulfilling a lifelong dream is pretty cool. Otherwise, it was overly dramatic and cheesy. The fact that I can't stand Notre Dame doesn't help either.
I've thought of a random one:
The Great Santini - the scene where the black guy with the stuttering problem who was always being made fun of is attacked and some of his dogs murdered. I didn't necessarily cry but I felt so sorry for the poor guy. That part of the movie got to me a little bit.

quote:I have to agree with this. I loved this movie until I found out it wasn't even close to how it actually happened. The coach that they made look like hated him actually loved his contributions in practice and it was his idea to dress him for a game. I would be kinda pissed if I were that dude. Sorry if I ruined it for some of yall
