You ever watch Fringe? I was kinda channeling that.. Yes I voted, or rather, ***** ******* the human voted, BaddestAndvari didn't though. That's what I was getting at. I refused to vote under the ser-name BaddestAndvari, in order to "appear" impartial in the voting thread.

but in all seriousness, I will create a final voting thread tomorrow afternoon, and in that vote there will be a "keep it as it is." at this point, I have come to realize that the M/TV is a much more diverse group and that any little thing or change, especially one that they have to look at every day is probably a bigger decision than can be voted on by the masses.. It's just to personal for a lot of these guys, and at this point I don't even know how I feel, but I do know that stout's design has won twice, in 2 different voting threads.

51 - 53 with 8 votes for the additional remote. I would think those votes would go to the one sans remote.
I'm just pointing this out, it's not some clear winner, it has never trounced the competition. Just saying It won twice does not make it a bigger margin, especially considering that FIRST vote with MORE votes than this one.

I would just like to add that I don't really give a shite what logo which colors we use, but this thread delivers.

the reel is in a different place and maybe they liked the remote and not the reel? It just can't correlate, it was also different colors.. That was the problem I saw with the original votes, there were so many different colors and logos.. it was just.. disgraceful.

I admitted that I had actually voted in the vote thread, (even though i had said I was going to stay impartial) by using an alter, because Freauxzen wouldn't leave me the hell alone. Freakin' fringe withdraws, I should have known better than go toe to toe with another Fringe fan.

But more people were clearly voting AGAINST the Hollywood sign, simple as that. So the two wins isn't some definitive fact.
And Godfather admitted his logo for this vote was wrong as well. He took the color comment literally and mistakenly added the drop shadow.
I agree. Maybe not Disgraceful, but messy, such is the process, that was my point. Even up to now.

Because we've tried before. Because people want to be unique...
And as I said before, this is a board about movies and art, people probably want something that is a symbol...something that speaks to film and tv to represent it.
