Didn't she try to get him fired for improper behavior on set?
Anyway, this sounds kinda dumb, but I'm sure Stranger Things fans will pop a stiffy.

Is that the movie where the changed the child rapist/murderer from black to white to prove a point?

I initially thought this thread was about James Gunn's DCU

There was no direct one to one character portrayal from real life, but the overall theme of the adaptation was to race swap regarding the larger issue of black and brown immigrants assaulting girls.
In light of the recent report of rape gangs, it's not surprising the establishment went along with this.
* I see where some here land on the issue of 250,000 young victims. fricking crazy.

No, as I said, it wasn't adapted from a single story. One was a psycho killer case, having nothing to do with 'adolescence' at all, but keep pushing whatever fricked up narrative you want to be true.

British propaganda and state power is at war with its own people.

According to Stephen Graham, it was inspired by the 2021 murder of Ava White. The killer was 14 year old Harry Gilbertson.
Is this the "muslim offender" you're talking about?

bullshite. He said that after the controversy started. It definitely has way more in common with the other 99% of perps in these cases.

You’re being purposely obtuse.
The creator based the series on a Rwandan immigrant that stabbed girls and race swapped.
Don’t be an a-hole on purpose.

Running with the reddit-identified similar case, which is one of dozens such similar cases, and not what the creators have specifically stated feels way more like purposeful a-hole behavior.
As does hijacking a thread about new show that has nothing to do with such cases.
