And spoilers. Right now you only have to worry about one episode every Thursday or Friday morning. Releasing all the episodes at once and it’s a battle of who can keep their mouth shut or who you can avoid.

The main benefit of streaming isn’t suppose to be that you watch an entire active season at once. It’s not having to be at your tv at this particular time to watch the episode.

And I’ve said before I don’t believe every show should have weekly releases, just the prestige/big ticket ones. I don’t care if all the episodes of The Ranch or The Handmaid’s Tale or A Day at Disney or whatever are released at once. All of that is niche or filler between big releases.

Thought it was alright. Good to see Bombay again.

It usually takes me a few episodes to get into a show so ill give it some time.

Really liked the cinematic feel to it

My family of 4 enjoyed it.

I dont need everything i watch to be adult comedy/dark and gritty. Its a good family watch. They did shite all over the travel baws so that was pretty funny

What would qualify as a big release in your opinion? I feel like that's subjective. I really couldn't care less about shows like The Mandalorian or WandaVision but shows like The Crown I can't get enough of.

Show and the team sucks. Don’t even deserve to lace up skates.

The Crown would qualify too. Basically your big budget/prestige shows. The shows that when people think of your streaming service, those are your top ones.

For instance, Netflix would have Stranger Things, The Witcher, and The Crown. Maybe Peaky Blinders as well and Narcos. House of Cards and Bloodlines would have fit in this category. Disney Plus would have The Mandalorian, WandaVision, and now FAWS. If Rebels and Clone Wars had been exclusives, they would count. Monsters at Work and Mighty Ducks have a chance at being in this category. Prime would be The Boys, Mrs. Maisel, Jack Ryan, Bosch, etc.

This thread has drifted but here goes. There are people, like me, who are busy and the weekly episode release is more appealing. The shows that are season drops feel like a chore to watch. A 10 episode season drops and I ask myself if this is worth 10 hours of my time, do I want to even start this series.

Weekly drops don't seem so insurmountable, it's only an hour if your time, and allow time for the series to create discussion and build momentum.

Count me as a fan of the weekly drop.

I work a full-time job and still have time to binge a show because the ones I find bingeable are the ones I make time for days or even weeks in advance. I'm also able to avoid spoilers because I don't typically jump into threads about said show until I have completed watching the entire season.

Bombay is kind of a nutjob and a little dark.

I find it amusing

Until they revamp Little Giants, the Mighty Ducks saga can go frick itself.

I love how critical this show is of travel sports parents, but also critical of the "everyone gets a trophy" parents.

Is it just me or have they overdone the schtick a little. I mean, the original D-5 team was bad at hockey, but they at least knew the game and had some players.

The “Don’t Bothers” have two people who have any knowledge of how to play the game.

I doubt the Season one goal is to have them win the ship at the end of the season. I can see more of a Bad News Bears kind of ending for this ending where they are just happy to play, be competitive and enjoy the game of hockey with their buddies. Season two they will draft well, pick up some key free agents, open up the playbook more, and be in the number one seed race.

Some people wants you to control the way YOU experience things. Take gamers for example, in world of warcraft, because some a-hole decided he hated flying, he decided no one should be able to fly anymore so the game could be more "immersive."

Same shite with this bullshite from disney. The reason why a lot of Netflix dump shows failed is because those shows lack quality control. They could throttle the release date all they want but shite show is shite.

Stranger Things dropped all at once, people love it talk about it, millie bobby brown is almost a house hold name now. Umbrella Acadmey was also yet another thing people enjoyed in bulk, there was hype surrounding season 2, it wasn't the best due to Eliot Page acting but it wasnt bad. Then there is Witcher which also released everything and people licking their chops for season 2.

So if a shite show have to throttle to gain interest, the show is still shite.
