i had high hopes due to people on here liking it, but I absolutely hated the ending. It doesnt explain why or how, it just ends.

You must hate a lot of sci-fi then...
Like 2001, and Rendez-vous with Rama.

Wait...they have rentals at a library? And there are people who rent movies that way?
Is this real life? Have I time traveled?

Bro just this week I've scooped the hateful eight, creed, deadpool, and this one yall boys sleeping on the library fa real
Everything's better free even if the redbox is only a dollar a night(which i still use regularly)
But with the library you got a week or 2 to take it back so no rush to watch it or get it back the next day
And they got cd's which I get 3 or 4 of those at a time too
shite might library lets me walk out with like 8 movies, 4 cd's, and a 2 or 3 books:graphic novels at a time
I'll say it again a lot of folks sleep on the library
Shits in waking distance for me so yea I think it's highly untapped resource for free rentals

I just watched it. It's ok. Well done, but underdeveloped imo.

Agreed. Had HUGE hopes for it, but it was just solid. Definitely worth a watch, though.
P.S: I just listened to your post draft podcast. Were you dying at the time? Lots of coughing and it sounded like you vomited on your phone 2 or 3 times.

Probably. I got 3 kids who get stuff from daycare all the time. I can't really remember. It's all a blur.

Just watched this. Loved it! I was captivated the whole way through.
I still have no idea how Adam Driver became famous, though.

Loved it. It winds into some interesting directions and really plays with expectations. For some people, this means in the end it misses, so it may not work for them.

The library in Madisonville has a great DVD selection. That's how I see current releases. Fo. Free.

I loved Joel Edgerton's character.
He was just asked to help and he saw how amazing the kid was and gave up everything to help out a friend from long long ago. He treated the kid like a kid too.
It was weird to see the scientist converted so easily. Maybe that was it, he was so mind-blown and in awe that he knew that science could not explain what he was dealing with in the kid.
