Profiles dopers and cops in the Conway AR area. They should show this to kids instead of preaching bullshite in DARE. Kids, this could be your dumb arse.

One old boy tickled me when his mom read about a big raid that arrested several people they knew. He said most of them just did it because they needed money. “I wouldn’t even frick with it if I had a good job. Maybe on the weekends I might party and have a good time, but other than that I wouldn’t even frick with it if I had a good job.”

He might as well keep doing meth, because he doesn’t have enough sense to pour piss out of a boot. That good job isn’t happening.

The mom read a news article that said that police had ended a major drug distribution ring with several arrests. She laughed and laughed and said they hadn’t stopped shite. You know she is right, and the cops know it too. It’s like digging in sand.

The saddest was seeing the cute little kids, and you know most will be dopers by the time they hit about 15, just like their parents and grandparents.

I watched it. Disturbing for someone who does not live around the drug world

Shows like this fascinate me. This one was similar to the Wild & Wonderful Whites of West Virginia, just a little darker & less (unintended) humor. The son that wasn't in prison (mentioned above) didn't just bump to make himself feel normal; he was way deep in the hole - walking around paranoid in the woods with a machete / bladed knuckles, etc. Painful to watch, but I can't look away...

My son texted me last night telling me to watch that show.

God I hate to admit this, but one of the boys arrested in that documentary is my Son's brother in-law. He's the one sitting in the recliner when they raided the boy's trailer. Kid is facing several years in prison.

Even though I am from Arkansas (don't live there now), I never knew that world existed. I guess when you leave suburbia, you can find the underbelly of society if you know where to look.

Shame that we are loosing thousands of people to this crap while the Mexican drug kingpins get rich.

That was some sad shite to watch.

I thought it was one of the best and most sobering docs I've seen in a while. They didn't try to ease into the ugliness of it all for a second, they dove right in and showed every bit of it scene after scene after scene. Arrests, raids, in jail out of jail, the one guy casually talking about prison with his small children, the coffin at the end, wow. BTW who was the guy that died? I don't remember it ever saying

Spoiler alert

I was fuzzy on that too, but I gathered he was the one with cirrhosis. I later read that he was the husband of Veronica (the mom who had most camera time).

I think she actually calls him "the devil hisself." "Hisself" is one of my favorite low class words.

I watched it the other night and damn it was sad. That guy was a father of 2, gets out of jail, says he's getting his shite together and starting over, and goes right back in. If you want to be POS and it doesn't affect anyone else, go ahead. But if there are other people involved that you are hurting, you need to grow up.

Crazy and very well done.

The paranoid brother patrolling the woods with his mini Klingon knife reminded me why I need to own larger caliber pistols.

WOW!! This is very sad, but true. It reminds me of some of my family in NE Georgia.
