Amazon paid the Broccoli family 1 billion dollars for the right to destroy a money printing machine. No one should be surprised by these rumors. There won't be a decent Bond flick for at least 20 years.

Amazon paying $1 billion makes me believe that their first Bond actor will very traditional and safe. They will want to recoup their investment.

I would say they'd never destroy such a popular franchise so blatantly like this but look at what Disney did to Star Wars.
