lol Pam really was a bitch who wouldn't help Greg even a little. "Go wake my brother up and get his clothes". Ridiculous request. You go bother him and take his clothes. You're his frickin sister and I've never met him. And letting your family all call him focker is also terrible. Poor communication is what makes nearly every comedy plausible though so screw it I guess.

and chances are if he had stood up for himself more he probably would have gotten the dad's respect quicker. It seemed like they just piled on after seeing he was just trying to get along with everybody and was being a pussy.

I now hate Pam. Thanks a-hole.

Finally, somebody else gets it!
Most people I know have the mindset of, "oh, Greg's just a frickup."
I think he isn't really a frickup and that almost anyone with thundercunt as a girlfriend would have come across that way.
As a matter of fact, Greg showed a lot more patience than most would have.

She was definitely not that into ol' Gaylord.
In real life, dude would have peaced out that bitch.

I never though about it this way, but you're absolutely right. Pam is a total bitch.

I want to live in your world.
Have you ever met a dad like Jack Burns? Standing up to him would've made things 1000x worse on the weekend where you meet him for the first time. Those type of people require..... finesse.

First, I am not reading all of that crap.
Second:
Couldn't agree more. I was engaged once before I met my current wife. I disclosed this to her after a few months of dating. It was awkward because having an ex-finacee is so much bigger than having an ex. I mean she one step from having an ex-husband. You have to disclose that crap.
Second:

- Didn't tell Greg about her engagement to Kevin.
That's a pretty solid piece of information right there, and one that a serious boyfriend (that you fricking live with) should know. You've told him all about your relationship with Kev, but left out one pretty important fricking detail. That's completely selfish IMO. And let's not forget that when Greg rightfully bitches about that, Pam defends it by saying that she knew Kevin wasn't the one because their relationship was purely sexual. Nice work, idiot.

I would bookmark your blog if you did this for more movies.

Is there not a MTP appreciation thread? I guess this thread will do.
This movie is so funny. The chemistry between jack and Gaylord is awsome. This is some of the stillers best work, so many great one liners... I especially like this "I'm just going over some of the answers from the polygraph your dad just gave me"
Or "I've got nipples Greg, can you milk me?"

Does anyone find it strange that Jack put a nanny cam in the bathroom at that angle? Was he dick watching on Greg? WTF?
And Jack, you have a fricking wedding planned for your yard, yet you don't turn the water off on the broken guest toilet? Just take the risk that your house guest will remember?

So this was on this morning and I caught some of it on TV again. And it stuck out to me even more with the whole “people calling him Focker” thing. There is no way in hell Pam should’ve been okay with anybody doing that, but especially her father. The first time he calls him Focker she should’ve stood up to him and said to cut it out. Then if he did it again, tell him to stop that shite or she’s staying somewhere else.
And don’t get me wrong, she should get everyone else to stop as well, but none of them are her dad. Just goes to show again how little respect she has for Greg and how she doesn’t care that her family and friends shite all over him by refusing to even call him by his name.

The correct answer is that without all of those contrived irrational behaviour situations, you don't have a movie.

I've always hated Pam, but I was watching some this weekend and shite was just standing out to me big time, so I started taking notes on my phone. Ended up with like 10+ bullet points. Figured it would make a decent discussion thread.
I feel this could, word for word, also apply to The Office.
