I did find it interesting when I reading something on Betty White the other day that she did radio commercials for awhile until she broke into TV. Figured that was a nice nod from the show to that.

Halfway through. The musical numbers this season seem like padding. Not the best season so far. Still watching.

That was really my biggest complaint this season, the Shy musical numbers. I don’t mind one or two as a brief segue into another scene. But it got a bit overbearing, especially in the first half of the season.

I would’ve happily taken more Abe and Rose scenes. They slay me.

Took my time watching the series and didn't binge it, so I could travel with the cast at my own pace and when I wanted a nice break from life

Yea I always try to do this. Stranger Things s3 was the only one I couldn’t resist binging in July.

Moise is the best character IMO

I’d watch a show just about their parents

We stretched this one out as well. Helps that the episodes are very self-contained so you don't feel required to start the next one.

We wrapped it up last night and my biggest takeaway from the season was how incredibly self-desctrutive the characters have become. Midge has no concept of what privacy she should honor when doing her act, now Suzy is burning homes for gambling debts, Joel can't accept hitting the lottery with another awesome girlfriend, Abe and Rose sabotage themselves and their family, Shy seems to hate himself, Sophie is a Kamakazi on stage...

The list of of normal characters to play off of is pretty small...
Moishe and Shirley
Dr. Ben
Reggie

I might not have minded Shy's musical numbers if I enjoyed his voice. I just didn't. There was nothing compelling about his singing or even his looks.

But I still love the show.

As soon as Shy told Midge he's gay, I knew she was going to end up telling someone and messing up her opportunities.

It felt too telegraphed that something bad was going to happen when the manager told her to go out there and talk about Shy. I thought she would slip up and say it, which she basically did.

With her finding out he was gay, I thought she would become his confidant/champion.

As soon as she bought her old apartment, I knew the tour would end prematurely.

The pre-set Harlem speech seemed like Reggie torpedoing her to teach Shy a lesson. You knew exactly what she'd do on stage.

I can’t get past Joel kicking her to the curb for a chubby Chinese chick

Long term, I'd go with the smartass Chinese girl who gets shite done and is going to have a medical practice.

I'd take that over the knuckleheaded hottie.

I knew he was gay before Midge. The first time he showed up, I knew it.

The getting married again plot line is awful... too much Shy. Not the best season. Needed more Lenny.

Feel like next season will undoubtedly be better especially if they go to the Catskills.
