Yeah, you're right. Because there was never violence, intolerance, cruelty or crude behavior before the black culture invaded our white homes 15 years ago.

You are an intolerant fool.

Revelator, organized religion is the worst thing to ever happen to this earth. How many people have died because of religious intolerance and ignorance like yours?

If there are people like you in heaven, then I don't want to go.

I agree with all of this, but I think you should change "black culture" to "hip hop/rap culture." Whites also pertain to that group. One doesn't have to look any further than the OT for an example. It seems that every week, some poster makes a thread about how Lil Wayne is a master lyricist or a poet. Seriously? I could say F***, n*****, and b**** twenty times each in a song...that doesn't make me a poet or a master lyricist. The fact is that the man has no vocabulary. Is it part of his culture? Sure...but that also has to do with the fact that many of the people that share his culture are uneducated, as well. I am not only talking about black people.

Revelator is really an under-the-radar troll on this board, it seems. I don't find he's particularly convincing.

You, sir, are a snob. I understand how someone can be turned off by excess cussing, but to judge someone else solely based on how often they drop the F bomb is both arrogant and asinine.

You guys are disparaging/blaming the wrong non-lily white group. When I think of "frick" being used excessively in movies, I think Scarface, Goodfellas and Casino.

frick Giusseppe Mazzini. frick Lucky Luciano and the boat that brought him over here.

Funny, I have never been called a snob in my life. I am one of the friendliest people you will ever meet.

With that stated, vulgarity and profanity used to an excess is a direct relation to a person's homelife and education level. Music, movies, and television shows that use excessive levels of such are developed for those people. I, for one, don't like to hear it used so frequently in place of an actual vocabulary of more profound words. Just think if the Smurfs were called the Phucks. Everytime something is "smurfy, the smurfiest, or smurfarrific," it would now be the same as many songs, tv shows, and movies that use the F bomb like the word "the"(as some other poster said)... It is excessive and mindless.

Go back and read my post, again. I didn't blame them. Somebody else did. I merely re-directed his blame to "hip-hop/rap"--not necessarily black people. I also stated earlier that I understand the use of excessive profanity when it is called for and alluded to the same movies that you just mentioned.

So movies like Goodfellas and shows like The Sopranos are only for people whose homelife and educational level are equivalent to that of the characters in the movie/show?

I've heard nothing more absurd. I guess, since I didn't grow up in the ghetto or a household that dropped F bombs all the time, I shouldn't watch these critically acclaimed shows.

yet this has nothing to do with whether or not you are a snob. The fact that you think being friendly means you aren't one is arrogant in itself.

frick is such a versatile word, who wouldn't want to use it?

I actually started to feel bad about giving you so much shite personally a few weeks ago. No more. You stereotype yourself with every post. A fundamentalist Christian racist. WHodathunkit.

Funny. I used to practicd law with a family guy who had a wife and three kids. And he was very bright. He threw around "fricks" and "godamns" like a fricking sailor. Even at home. It was one of the most loving homes I've ever been in. All the kids turned out great. Successful. A

All of you can go frick yourselves.

So you're saying it's sort of the blue blazer of the English language.

Wow, you and OMlandshark are not very educated because you cannot read and comprehend. Or maybe you are trying to be clever by only responding to "part" of what I say.

Either way, it doesn't matter to me.

Look, some movies may use profanity gratuitously. But I also think it's used realistically in most movies. Educated people do use profanity, and it's not necessarily a substitute for vocabulary.

Again, why do you continue to berate/question others education levels? Does it make you feel even more educated than you already supposedly are?

Apparently it does, you keep responding.

You know, I'm glad to see you have such an exemplary example of family values as your avatar. Sinatra never used a vulgarity.

Ever.
