Sorry, I know this was posted just the other day but I couldn't find he post.

Wow what a difference between season 1 and 2. So glad I decided to stick with it after that shitshow of a first season. But I see how it set things in motion so I guess I still appreciate it. Absolutely loved this season.

Season 2 is when the show breaks out IMO

Still think this show had so much wasted potential

Have you read the book? The show is soooo much better.

I just watched 1 & 2 a few weeks ago but already forgot the ending, I've heard a few people bitch about it.

Are you referring to the introduction of the alternative universe/timeline?

This is a great series, can't wait for season 3. Is John Smith now Fuhrer Smith?

I read the book. Is the series really good, and how could they do an adaptation? The book has a lot of internal struggles within the characters. I don't see how that could translate to good TV, unless it's just the basic concept of Germany and Japan winning WW2, and not much else.

I seems pretty obvious that Smith will turn against the Nazis. His son is the catalyst.

The show does a stellar job of communicating the nuances of how much life would be different under Nazi and Imperial rule.

My favorite is the Dragnet-style show that's often playing in the background, "American Reich". Even just the sight of the former American flag with the swastika instead of the stars evokes such a visceral response.

Even the "Wait, what?" ending of the book is much better explained throughout the course of the second season.
