Just started my first rewatch.

Dammit this show is great. And I’m following the dynamics of who does what in the office much better this time. Also picking up on more references and Easter eggs to real world stuff.

I’ve rewatched atleast once a year since it ended and still find new little details that I didn’t notice before each time

Biggest shift, first time I watched mad men (caught up in S5 or S6 and then watched live) I hated Pete, but on the first rewatch I completely changed my view on him

I'm literally rewatching Mad Men right now for the last few weeks. It's my first rewatch.

I appreciate it even more now than first watch. I'm in just into Season 3 though. My initial perspective on characters has definitely changed.

The genius in the rewatchability of this show besides its famous production values is that there are so many stand alone episodes.

There's no Battlestar Galactica, where did I leave off?

Most episodes are just mini-movies that you can watch in isolation.

And they never piggyback beyond a loose overarching story.

Since this is my first personal re-watch, I'm much more into the nuance of character development from a new/different perspective. I'm really enjoying the re-watch, I'll leave it at that.
