What else?

I'll listen to any suggestions.

Curious what everyone else would say about Blade Runner. It was on my list but I can see an argument against it.

From your original list? probably days of thunder. more of a sports movie?

comment wasnt directed at you, just general. I like your tournies but i think everyone gonna have wide opinions on this one.

good Lord, is this thread about nominating films that you like, or complaining about the films that other people nominate?

I personally nominated a good spread of films, and there are at least a dozen that other people have nominated and I forgot, and which I think probably should’ve been on my list.

Well shithead, you have the ability to nominate them. There are very basic rules to this. And it's pretty odd calling my list shite when it includes movies widely viewed as some of the best movies of all time and yours has Rambo 2 on it. But ok.
I do not know how much you have had the pleasure of interacting with that poster, but his personality is generally … unpleasant.

Yea you're right. In my head I was thinking you know I actually like Days of Thunder better than I do Top Gun so I put it on there without even thinking about the genre. Edited now.

We got a pretty good list right now but a lot with the same amount of votes, I'll let this go for a little while and try and get some more so we can have some tie breakers for these seedings.

No you can still edit. I'll let the nomination round run today and start counting votes and get the 1st round out tomorrow.

Die Hard vs. Aliens

We should skip the whole tournament and just give the trophy to Hard Boiled.

A little disappointed in this groups lack of love for The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

I’d like to nominate Bullet Train. Non stop action.

Also, Saving Private Ryan and all war movies should be removed so we can do a “War Movie” bracket in the future. What do y’all think?

How about

Layer Cake
The French Connection
Bullit
Dirty Harry
Magnum Force
The Gauntlet
To Live and Die in LA

Maybe there can be a chase scene category at some point. Some of those late 70 early 80 movies had intense chase scenes.

I didn't get to work at my computer thursday and friday so I didnt get the 1st round out but I do have all the seedings set now. If some more votes come in I'm sure I can adjust them but I did any tiebreakers based on the IMDB rating.
