Thats the thing, that is very weird, especially her latest role in the George and Tammy series, where she is atleast 100 lbs heavier than the woman she is portraying, maybe they changed the character to have a fat person in the cast, like maybe to fill a qouta almost, nobody else was overweight on the show, even tho Katy´s character in episode 4 called Michael Shannons character fat.

1) She has screen presence. If you’re casting for a sassy country best friend, she’s going to deliver.
2) Casting “less attractive” actresses in supporting sidekick roles is nothing new. Mixon and the other sidekick were noticeably less desirable than Chastain. Not saying that Chastain was on board with this, but Lucille Ball famously insisted that Vivian Vance stayed heavy.

I didn't see this coming but she actually did it, she dropped all the weight, I suspect Ozempic played a part, but nontheless she actually did it
