How about Yimmi?
No, Flocke hasn't needed them.

As MIB was on the plane he was actively looking for wiring, he did not know where it was.
I said he knew it was on the plane, not where on the plane.

If Jack would have wanted to leave the island, MIB could have put them on the plane with or without that bomb and it wouldn't have matter if they died or not, he could've gotten off the island.
How do we know that?

she should know how to keep him on the island. Seems like a rule to me?
Ilana knew about the Candidates, she also knew that nobody could go into the statue without being invited. She knew about the rules, maybe she didn't know them all, but she knew that after Jacob died, MIB can only take the form of Locke or Smoke Monster.

Ya'll seem to take a lot of things for fact. I can't do that anymore with this show.

You don't think Jack's dead father could help persuade Jack to leave the island?
I'm fairly certain (which is saying a lot with this show) that once MIB inhabited Locke's body, he was stuck with it. It is one of the side effects of the loophole.

Locke's original plan was convincing them that all had to leave together. Plus it is a lot easier to convince them all to leave than to convince them to kill each other off.

We don't know for sure how locke can leave the island unless you read spoilers... most everything he says is a lie

I agree that I can't conclude that for sure. But based on the evidence, I would say it's probably more likely that he can leave if all the candidates leave with him.

Why else would the candidates have had to go back to the island?

I think he could also leave if they give him permission. Which won't happen, in my opinion.

RIP Sayid. At least he was able to go out in typical Arab fashion by blowing up with a bomb strapped to his chest.

Um, maybe later. How about you think about it for a little while?

Jacob wanted them back on the island... The 6 candidates specifically. Why wouldn't he have needed them on the island if they could have kept MIB from escaping while they were off the island?

RIP MIB. At least he was able to go out in typical Sayid fashion with C4 strapped to his chest in the well.

Because that would be rediculus.

I thought Jack's acting was good that episode. Watching it a second time, I was captivated again by his facial expressions. They are almost as good as O'Toole's/Locke's. The way he would look at MIB and Bernard was reminiscent of the calm expressions of Jacob and Elie.

the beginning of the pilot is one of the most intense 10 minutes of tv ever

I've watched every episode of Entourage and I need a new show. I sure hope this pilot sucks me in.
If there is one pilot guaranteed to suck you in on the first viewing, its LOST. Certainly watch it. Unless you blow through it like a mad man, you probably won't catch up in time to watch the finale live, since its in 2 weeks.
Also be patient for answers. They will come. Its a marathon and most of the mysteries brought up in the first 2 seasons won't be answered til later. Right now for us almost all of the answers have been answered and enjoy the suspense.
Enjoy the ride
