That probably had something to do with the fact that Jack just explained MIB's plan completely and Sayid understood it.
What would you do if you were told that the guy who told you he could bring back your wife flipped a switch and wanted to kill you?

I think after the events of tonight, the flash sideways timeline is somehow going to end up becoming the true timeline as they've killed off way too many main characters.
It's like when they eventually killed off everyone of the tail section in season 2, which essentially made half of the season completely pointless.

I still think mib can't cross water. Sawyer asked why he didn't tuen to smoke and fly over. Nothing tonight disproved that. It was never said he couldn't get in water. There is no way hecould swim off the island so I think water isn't a big problem for him except that he can't turn into smoke over water.

Maybe Desmond told Sayid? This may answer my question also. If Des knows what everything is all about he may have explained it to Sayid and that is why Sayid has conceded he will not get his wife back.

If Terry O'Quinn doesn't win some sort of award for his performance this season then they should just quit giving out Emmy's. He's done a spectacular job and provided some of the best acting to come through the major networks in quite a few years.

Smokey is a bigger liar than Ben. And he appeared in the freighter when he told Michael he could go. Smokie is blocked by the barrier of the Island, not the water.

Where was Widmore?
Did he want them to take his sub knowing that MIB would kill them? Does Widmore not have plans to ever leave the Island again?
