Yeah......they show has covered about 3 years but Walt has aged 6 or 7.

He saw Locke on the island..in a suit...and a bunch of people were around him wanting to hurt him (after the marshall tells everyone that locke was dead when he got onto the plane).

That was the last thing was saw of Locke on the island in this episode before the current flashback.

I dont think hes the next Jacob...but I do think that Locke teaching Walt how to play Backgammon on the island will play a huge roll in this "war".
