I think by season's end MIB will be taken out somehow and Jack will be the new Jacob and Sawyer will be the new MIB since they're old friends and now Sawyer wants to kill him
I think this is legit for a couple reasons. Sawyer wanted to kill jack but instead decided to let him suffer "like the rest of us". Sawyer wants Jack dead but he won't do it himself. Kind of a parallel of how MIB couldn't kill Jacob but used another to do it.
Far fetched but you never know with this show.

Well he seemed to go away after Charlie died. It has to be tied to him being alive.

I did not read any of the thread beyond the final page but what does everyone think the theory of Flocke (fake locke) wanting to kill Jack before he saves Locke in the alternate timeline?
I guess it makes sense...I thought of this as soon as he gave locke his business card...
Also one big theory is Jacob took over Sayid's body in the end...
this shite is epic!

the writers have lied before. anyway, we are all getting really sidetracked here. a more important direct question is why didn't richard want them to shoot at MiB? was it to stop him from going smokey and killing them all? I'm pretty sure the guys that were with Ilana shot at him before he attacked them.

I hope this is true

Why wasn't Shannon on the plane? When she was the first time.
I'm actually happy she wasn't. Locke and Boone talking was just so satisfying that I didn't want a huge bitch interrupting it.

Remember when locke took the rug, cleaned the knife and ripped it? That's what they found stuck into the wall in the cabin. The ash was probably broken by someone else since he has ben doing his dirty work...but they found that before he was killed. Right?

Everyone Jack had interaction with was a flight 815 survivor. Does that mean either way the urniverse goes we end up in the same place anyway? Kate's marshal had the same wound on his head it just didn't kill him....

Everyone but Desmond...why the hell was he there?

It is the never ending battle between the light and the dark. The immortals just keep switching bodies. This will continue to happen until the world lives in harmony. The two beings, "Jacob" and "MIB" have been playing this game forever and will continue to play for eternity. We are just seeing this particular round. One side gets the upper hand while the other finds a way to "kill" the other one.
Just my two cents.

The wound to his gut killed him. Not his head.

Does anyone believe Nemesis will try to trade Richard for Jack? or something?
and I believe Sayid (jacob) will try to stop this.

He conned Locke out of his life. There's no way he's a """"good"""" guy no matter what his motives are. He is still a complete bastard and piece of shite.

He can't be good...it's impossible.

There is no way now that MIB is the good guy...I just envision Locke(the real one) coming back and saving the day somehow...
I think he ends up being the leader of the Island in the end.

what I dont get, is that if Jacob and Nemesis cant harm each other, why would one need to protect himself from the other?
I look at it this way: Jacob was the Executive Brach while the Monster was the Judiciary Branch. the Monster can't kill Jacob since he is basically sinless, so he has to find someone full of sin (Ben) that he can threaten to kill Jacob with. Ben was a pawn from the beginning.
