Ok completly random thought. I think by season's end MIB will be taken out somehow and Jack will be the new Jacob and Sawyer will be the new MIB since they're old friends and now Sawyer wants to kill him

Yea wen the mib tells jacob he wants to kill him at end season 5 , the boat in the distance is the black pearl, which richard was on

I'll disagree with you, cordially of course, on this point. I think that they've established MIB can only be in one form/place at a time. For instance, that's why MIBLocke "disappeared" when the Smoke Monster showed up to take out the four people with guns (also see the episode where MIBLocke takes Ben to be judged where MIBLocke, Smokey, and Alex were all obviously MIB but never at the same time).

I think Sayid is clearly someone very important to defeating MIB (as per Jacob's note to the Temple people). He was freaking pulling the Christ pose when being taken out of the water and was later "resurrected" after being declared dead. Seems important to me.

Also, I don't agree with someone's suggestion that Sayid is now Jacob. I think his response indicated that he's clearly still Sayid; Jacob would not have needed to lie to the Temple people like MIBLocke did to the Others on the beach. Plus, Jacob will likely communicate through Hurley as they established in the first hour (and I'd guess Miles too if they wanted to go that direction).

Very, very interested to see where they go with everything. I found myself actually being drawn more to the alternate flight timeline than the one we've been with for the last five seasons.

anybody else think it's odd that at the 2nd to last Samurai's dojo/The Temple, there was a Co2 canister hanging from a rope like a punching bag?

i think somehow the two alterd realities will colide and somehow it will kill MIB

every major character who got off the plane seemed to have some sort of problem except hurley and sawyer....

and dont know if this has any significance but jack said he had a pen when he was resusitating charlie. how did kate get it?
