So why the frick does he want to kill Jacob???
Probably has something to do with him wanting to be the overall, no questions asked, leader of the others, AND the island.

now wait.... Do you remember what Walt told Locke "I see you surrounded by people that want to kill you"
Do you think that Ben and Richard turn the others on Locke and they are the ones that want to kill Locke???

I'm thinking on their way to go find Jacob, they run into the"what lies beneath the shadow" people.

That vision happened in the episode where Walt said that (when Locke was standing in the shallow beach water eating the fruit).
Locke is not in a suit anymore.

Forgot he said that....
But at that point the 316 people did not want to hurt him.... or did they?

Or Locke is actually Jacob.

in the previews for next week, why in the frick are sawyer, etc. back on the island
WTF
WTF

It was implied that the 316 passengers were afraid of him and considered him a threat. Remember Ceasar's reaction? Remember how tentative the bounty hunter chick was when she approached him?

Yeah. I didn't get wtf they were doing back on the island. I guess the sub breaks down or something and they have to go back.

Just about to ask that.... and if Jack does lead the Purge, why doesnt it go all the way through???
Why isnt the bomb detonated?
The Purge is in the late 80s or early 90s and its obvious from Ben's flashback that there wasn't an Island evacuation at that time.

But killing Jacob.... How the hell is he going to do that? I assumed Jacob was already dead and was more of a spirit than a living being. Its like trying to kill Dr. Manhattan.

I would think they hear Jack's plan and decide they have to stop him. Kate, Sawyer, and Juliet all have motivation for keeping Jack from changing things. Kate to stay out of prison and Sawyer and Juliet to keep their love affair alive.

First of all, Hurley....
Secondly, did anyone else notice that Eloise might have had a tummy bulge [she's pregnant] in the episode or was that just me?
Third, Jack becomes Locke. Wow.
Fourth, is Locke Jacob? By John killing Jacob, he releases his old self to become new, hence being reborn in actual time? So mind blowing. Ben's face was priceless when John said he's going to kill Jacob seemed like, "you are going to kill yourself??"
One of the most interesting parts to me was Miles having to watch as his father puts him and his mother on the sub to send them off forever.... knowing that it is because he and Faraday came back and warned him of what was to come in the future. So, it creates this conflict of his life-long feelings of abandonment and the realization that his father was doing what he had to and had their best interest in mind and was trying to protect them.

Is "smokey" related to the bomb?
Because the bomb is in the temple that Ben saw his daughter/smokey

Here's my question, Why is Hurley always in charge of the food? He's the last person I would want near the food.

Good call....
Again, it has been a while since the religious stuff has come into play. I think this is going to tie it all back in.
Jacob = God
Ben/Richard = Jesus because they can speak for him
Locke = Judas (or someone of the likes)
