Well that’s good to hear. I just find damn bizarre how that phraseology only comes when people are deconstructing certain groups, while omitting others. Nobody ever said they have a problem with the racially, culturally pure Chinese movies. I’ve yet to hear anyone complain about lack of African or European representation in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, for example.

1. It’s crazy that shows made for western audiences try and appeal to diverse western audiences but shows made in China only try and appeal to the 91.1% Han Chinese majority?
2. I have Never complained about the original LOTR movies. I love those
Movies. But the cast being mostly white isn’t why. It doesn’t move the scale either way for me.
3. Again, is there not more to Tolkien than racial descriptions of characters? Do you not think he offers a lot more than that?

It's a good show. It's not woke. Tolkien purists will have to set canon aside to enjoy the show.
Everything that you have said is untrue. If Tolkien fans feel that he is being disrespected, it will be because of the process that happens every time a book is turned into a movie or TV show. The First Age gets significantly altered and simplified because they have a story to tell, and they don't want to spend a dozen episodes filling in all the details from the First Age.
