Welcome to the Movie/TV Board, where The Last Jedi at one point was getting 10 threads a day for 4 years of how it ruined Star Wars and their childhood.

An inaudible performance is a valid reason for a snarky critique.

The director should've consulted Brad Pitt on how to eat an apple while delivering legible lines.

I don’t have exceptional hearing nor an exceptional sound system, and it was not anywhere near inaudible to me.

So some of you must have terrible hearing and/or a terrible sound system.

If it was inaudible then how in the frick did nearly everyone who watched the show make out exactly what he was saying? I think the critique is absolutely retarded.

Anyone know why they took Sylvie from her time line? I feel like they didn’t answer that.

We turned on the Closed Captioning. And I'm guessing that a lot of people think they knew what he was saying, but the CC showed us that your best guess wasn't always correct.

You are complaining that something wasn't believable in the MCU????

I mean because a huge purple alien going around collecting gems can actually snap half of all living things in the universe out of existence with said gems

They didn't.

The entire concept of a finite multiverse was ridiculous from the start.

Jesus you are just bitching just to bitch now.

I sincerely wish the DCEU had a coherent universe so that you could enjoy your life a little bit more.

Or maybe the took her to spark her endless journey ruining from TVA that shapes her to the person that ends up at the end of time with our loki, enchanting alioth and arriving at the end of their destinies to replace Kang and allow him retirement?

I didn’t love it like a lot on here but it certainly wasn’t bad. What did you not like about it?

People are going to downvote if you say ANYTHING negative about this apparently, but let me at least say 1st that I didn't hate it. I just didn't think it was good, how that offends people I have no idea. But anyway...

The show had a huge build up to finally meet this villain. I purposefully hadn't read anything or looked at imdb to see who it was going to be. Had I, I actually would have been hoping for even more actually.

It turns out to be a guy that is pretty cool with them and takes a long time to eat an apple. I didn't think he was a bad actor, but I found nothing about him interesting. I get that he has the potential to be bad arse, but I'm basing my opinion based off what I saw, not based on versions of him that I don't know who they will be.

I'm booting this quote up i know but he said something like "you think I'm bad? Wait till there's 1,000 of me." Why would that scare me? You're a pretty nice guy.

So that was one thing. Basically the villain was a let down. Not who the villain was, but how he was portrayed. It gave me nothing to be excited about and there was so much build up and so much protection all for someone who doesn't even care if he's killed.

Also, the big plot reveal was nothing special. There's a multiverse. Ok. There's already been movies not in the same universe, we already know that. They were telling us something that we already knew. Sure, Marvel can go wherever it wants to, but it's not like it needed that, they already go where they want to. That seemed to be an OMG moment for a bunch of people in this thread and 8 have no idea why.

Who has said this, Literally just you! If you didn't get the performance, and clearly by your apple comment you didn't, just ask and we can simplify it for you.

I'll be honest. I've been a big fan of Kang and his various incarnations for a very long time. When I found out they were going to bring him into the MCU I was rooting hard for the character and the actor.

I have to admit, I was not blown away by this performance as He Who Survives. I get they going for a bit of insanity from eons of guarding the time line and overseeing the TVA. I THINK they were trying to add a touch of weariness and kind of wanting to pass the torch. As I said in an earlier post, they could have started out by aging up the character appropriately.

I just thought the performance was over the top and the whole presentation of the character didn't really work for me. I hold out hope that the presentation of Kang will be great, but the combination of writing, directing and acting for this particular character disappointed me. I'd be lying if I said it didn't.

On this point, sure there are different movies and shows in other universes but they've never officially been connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Of course people saw a multiverse coming. It's been hinted at for a few years now but it shouldn't lessen the impact of what we saw. Everyone knew Thanos would snap his fingers but when he actually did it, shite kind of got real and it was a massive moment. Same for this Loki episode. Watching how the multiverse comes about is kind of an OMG moment.

And just because there is now a multiverse doesn't mean that anything and everything not by Marvel Studios is going to be a part of it.

The Finite Multiverse didn't work for DC either. It's ridiculous to go with the concept that there are multiple realities based on varying historical decisions, then saying that there are only a set number of those realities and no more can be created. Granny Apple Kang managing a team that keeps every decision in check in multiple, infinite universes is beyond comic book ridiculous. If this is their band-aid for the fiasco of the five year snap, the bandage is just as silly as the wound.

It’s always funny when people decide that “THIS” is the reason that a series of comic book movies about people with super powers, aliens, time travelers, and gods is too unbelievable.

Disappointing, I usually look forward to your takes but based on you comments in this tread. I'm starting to think someone hacked your account. Flat out awful takes.

Or that there is nothing wrong with not having the exact same opinion as you or not thinking that unless it's SJW it's not ok to have criticism.

There's nothing wrong with loving or hating last night's episode. I get why people like it, I don't get how you think knocking it means you have a miserable life. It was 30 minutes of Loki and Sylvie talking to a lackluster character, there's room for criticism.
