A common theme repeated time and time again, particularly with the comic book, sci fi and fantasy genres. These writers and directors think they can do better than the source material. It’s mind blowing

No one is gonna out Geralt Henry Cavill, but no actor living or dead could save the show from the dumpster fire tier writing and showrunner.

She intentionally subverted the entire premise of the series and destroyed core characters motivations and personalities in some ego driven need to avoid what she didn’t like in the universe and what she wanted to be involved with creatively.

I don’t think they can get approval for their own projects so they sign on for an adaptation of a popular IP only to try to reimagine elements of their own content or how they would act within that universe to the great displeasure of the audience who are expecting to see what they already know and love leading to disaster for all parties.

Shooting at snow? Witcher 3 was the greatest video game ever in that open world genre. The story, voice acting, everything was incredible. I read all the Witcher books and it does a great job of portraying Geralt

Ive definitely moved on...but I was so damn mad at what they did to this story. It was clear from the beginning that this show was only a vehicle to push stupid social narratives.

With Cavil, they should have had 2-3 seasons of him being the star just doing all the short stories...then introduce Yennifer and Ciri later(like the books did)
